Ok, so as I'm currently 3-0 in my match day thread career I'm guessing I keep the job for the next game so here we go. Once again I'm not promising anything to compare with those put together so superbly by KIO earlier in the season, but hopefully this will be a bit better than last week's "piss poor" effort at least, and of course I hope it brings the same result for City.
So welcome to the thread for the next of our remaining 'cup finals' as the Canaries travel to Bolton to take on Neil Lennon's Trotters on Saturday.
Things are looking very good indeed for Alex Neil's boys in yellow and green, three wins on the bounce have helped to extend our six-game unbeaten run, and surely this is the perfect time to be putting together such sequences if we want to claim one of those priceless automatic promotion spots. Of course our plight will be made just that little bit more difficult after our Player of the Season elect Bradley Johnson picked up his tenth booking of the season to rule him out of the next two games, and it will be very interesting to see who the gaffer decides to replace him with. He certainly won't be short of options, and hopefully it will be this strength in depth of the squad - as well as it's undoubted quality - that gets us over the line.
Our rivals are coming off the back of a very impressive 3-0 win at Cardiff, and are now unbeaten in the their last three after a couple of draws before that game. Currently in 16th place, 13 points above the relegation zone and 22 points from the play-offs, Bolton only have pride and preparation for next season to think about, though this lack of pressure on them may release their shackles as it clearly appeared to last week. City won the home fixture 2-1 at the end of October thanks to a brace from Cameron Jerome, and our top scorer will be looking to score again to take his tally for the season into the 20's.
(I'll finish the rest later, but it's a start at least)
