In time, this will all come out in the wash. There's a guy currently working at QPR who has a nice smile, is good looking and has a clean reputation and was a half decent footballer, so the general public obviously think he is a nice guy. In reality, the man is a back stabbing snake and he will get found out in time.
Fabregas puts Chelsea 1-0 up with very little left on the clock. Rob Green with a really poor clearance and the Spaniard takes advantage. Green's been suggested as the replacement for Cech in the summer...
Chelsea had one shot on the target in the whole game. Nobody could accuse them of winning the title in style.
For anyone that missed it, here's a good example of why Stuart Pearce doesn't have a job: please log in to view this image No Aguero, Silva or Zabaleta? Really? Hart over De Gea is very debatable, too.
I fail to see how Clutterbuck didn't see that as a sending off - Kompany threw himself at Blind full pelt, both feet off the ground, both sets of studs raised, not in control......baffling.
How has Clichy played at the top level for so long? He was horrendous in his last two seasons for Arsenal and he has been absolutely rubbish every time I've seen him play for City in the last 4 years. What do managers see in him? I'd go as far as to say he's one of the worst fullbacks in the division.
I think he was picking on current form. Silva and Aguero are world class players - of course you'd pick them on reputation.
City now getting something of a pasting. Bit of a role-reversal. Pellegrini must be on the way out, as well as a number of their players, which bring us to one of our major problems. None of the sides above us in the league will be happy with their performances this season, barring Southampton. They'll all spend a ton of money in the summer and strengthen. How do we hope to deal with that?
Carrick walks off injured, Aguero nets a second and a little shine comes off the win. Utd have been far the better team and City look utterly shot. Shame we've been such utter crap recently or we'd be looking at catching them. Perhaps someone still can?
City had only 42% possession today. Very unusual for them and symptomatic of a team which didn't look very interested at times..
Terrific entertainment. Everything you'd want from a local Derby. Unless you're a City fan, that is!...
