What will Liverpool win in the 2014-15 season...?

  1. Premier League

  2. Champions League

  3. FA Cup

  4. League Cup

  5. As much as Everton and Spurs!

I wouldnt go using any English clubs european campaigns as a stick to beat anyone with.

Utterly shambolic from all clubs involved.

Still had to play them, as well as fa cup games...

being #parttime meant you should be better than anyone not playing extra games apparently <ok>

You didnt play them. Not once. Not even close.

You filled in some gaps. That was all. English clubs were nothing but filler in europe. Like Albanian and Israeli clubs.

You're still clearly really upset at not having European football this season <laugh>

We wouldn't have been battered by a french team so yes, its a shame we couldn't have kept some pride in the english game.

Overall though. A good season not to qualify.

Ahead of you in the league, knocked you out of the fa cup, further than you in the community shield, league cup and European competition (i.e. Every competition), not battered by MK Dons <whistle>

    Better?

i seem to remember a few battering for utd in the CL... just cos arsneal did take the first leg seriously doesn't mean thy are worse than monaco... or that they will finish below utd.

Its amusing that either club thinks it all that after what amounts to poor seasons for both

utd win nothing but get back in CL... 2 years ago same utd fans would be laughing at arsenal celebrating that.. this is poor by Utd standards

Arsenal **** up the league early on and then the league cup and the CL.. and get lucky in the FA cup with the comp looking wide open for them once they beat utd..... arsenal have recovered quite a bit but still... i know its going on for 10 years now but c'mon its still poor for a club that should be competing.

If Arsenal manage to finish second and win the FA Cup on top of our shiny community shield, you'd have to say it had been a good season despite our early season mishaps, no?

Its not Rio promoting himself in this case its Henry Winter, you too can cite his charitable donations as proof he's a great guy, plenty of others in the game do a lot for charity off the pitch and are less up their own arses and less controversial yet they don't get eulogies from Winter and his ilk.

Yeh cant disagree with that Mito. Glasses are definitely half full...even with a drought on. Tbf in the last 10 years Liverpool have come closer to winning the league (and more often) than arsenal. United imo SHOULD have gone further in the league and both domestic cups, particularly the FA Cup. Both have underachieved considering the talent at their disposal. Not all comps but certainly more than what each have.

Same scenario(minus 3 league placing)could happen with us, no CL qualification though.

    Good season for us?

Probably a bitter sweet season as the main goal was to retain that CL place to help the stability of the club, but the FA Cup win would give you that trophy winning feeling and dampen the blow. If you managed to scrape into the top four and won the fa cup I'd say good season for sure. Though with the clubs competing for the top four spots fifth and an fa cup wouldn't go down as a bad season.

More than dampen the blow, it's the FA Cup it'll be party time.
