Too much, too soon. His father may be his agent [not sure] but he is mentioned as saying they stipulated in his contract that he must train with the seniors 5 times a week. Since he's been dropped, they've won their games. That looks like a sign he's unsettling the players and just not fitting in. What would he have done at Liverpool - no Ronaldo, £2k a week [like Sterling] .... just football ... can't have that eh?

It's nuts, he actually demanded that in his contract, so he could be close to Ronaldo?
Who'd they sign, the next Messi or this chick? <laugh>

Yes? Player plays for reserves but doesn't play very well, mainly because he trains with first team.

doesn't make much difference, the guy had obvious quality. "Faces fight to EVER play". Slightly over dramatic isn't it? He'll be being groomed to be ready for the first team in 2 years time, much like we did with Sterling. Exactly same happened, only difference is we paud 600k not 2.3m

£80k? Where did you get that from?!

Even the mail are claiming it's "only" £40k which means will probably be half of that at least

Which ever way we need one of them to lose. Citeh have the easier run to the end but we are obviously closer to catching them and their bad form could continue with another loss. Man U have the trickier run, but are further ahead and are on a good run that one defeat might stop them (or not).
Frankly in terms of the league positions it a catch 22.

That being said I don't think it'll make any difference as I don't see us catching either.

I dont think we're a top team, but we are a very good one. We've put in some sh1t performances at times... but dont equate that to us being an average team. We have a lot of quality in the side and now LVG is finally picking them, you can see that quality. I'll go as far as to say we have the makings of a top side and every United fan I know is expecting us to strengthen big time in the summer.

you've spend enough <laugh>

its obvious that utd have more quality than say LFC. its not only the tbale that doesn't lie.

Utd have as Top 4 players

DeGea
Rooney
Di Maria (despite the wumming i see)


There are then some very good players who over time i think can prove to be that too.

Blind.. i think he's up to top 4 at LB.
Herrera. not sure baout him and van gaal said he needs to improve but he can score goals
Jones. suits the prem as a CB. bit of a donkey.... but then so is kompany.
Carrick.. prob just coming to end. Prob was top 4 but this is his late autumn of his career
RvP... as per carrick, is still good

and the list goes on.


My REAL point is that both arsneal and Utd cannot think that becasue they've sailed into top 4 again that it means they can go for title and more importantly compete in europe as they stand

To be a top side utd still need more players and more consistency

If van gaal gets a CB, a CM and a striker who are all top 4 quality he'll be able to complete

Arsenal bloody lukced into bringing a kid back from charlton due to injury cirsis and he's played since. They've a good back line if anyone is ever fit and they have a very very good line of players behind giroud but giroud and welbeck in themselves are unconvincing at the highest level

no disrespect to utd but to be judged at the top is harsh.. this is why i am always harsh on LFC as if we start judging us against top 6 or top half we might as well close the club down.

LFC prob have one top 4 player right now.

unless the rules have changed in spain it is illegal there to pay someone under the age of 17. this is why half of the players who went to england were paoched by arsneal.. and us.. suso was paid at 15.. so was fabregas and the rest.

i don't know how this kid could be paid this.

top 4 player = player for the top of the league.

not a top 4 player = player not at that level

or.

world class (a messi)
top 4 standard (a hazard despite the mouthing that mourinho does)
very good (henderson potentially if used right)
good (a player like can)
average (this is flanagan so you can understand)
journeyman (this is charlie adam)
