Austin scored again don't know what our medical staff were doing when checking him over. Any way really hope we have a go Saturday even with fight which is the least we expect will some of these games be to much we can only hope not, chances have come and gone, we really need an unexpected result
I honestly think we can get something out of southampton. I think Bruce will figure something out and get a response from players.
Great result for us. Still only one point behind Villa and we have a game in hand over both those clubs. Villa will have looked at tonight as 2 points dropped given they was at home and were playing one of the clubs with a very poor away record. QPR will get nothing from Chelsea at the weekend and Arsenal will want to secure their number 2 spot at Burnley so even if we lose at Southampton , we're unlikely to be in the bottom 3 come next Sunday. All looking good.
That was a relief Benteke equalising. Although, it;s the best result for City, all the other teams look like they're up for the fight, whereas, we look out of sorts worryingly.
I would say its the worst result for City. We have to get one more point than Villa to go above them. QPR and Burnley have to get 3 more points than us to go above us. If only one of them do it and we fail to overtake Aston Villa we are down.
Worst result would've been a QPR win, would've preferred a villa win to a draw but really we need to sort our own **** out andnot rely on others to suck
Surely a Villa win is best for us. We'll have a game in hand. Tonight's permutations result in the following: Assuming there's no 7 or 9 goal hammerings tonight. (A) Villa win - Villa 31 pts, City 28 pts, QPR 25 pts (B) Draw - Villa 29 pts, City 28 pts, QPR 26 pts. (C) QPR win - City 28 pts, Villa 28 pts, QPR 28 pts........Need to win by 2 clear goals to overtake Villa Results of City's game in hand permutations : (A). City WIN - they remain above both Villa & QPR ....Pts - City(31),Villa(31),QPR(25)....v.good (A) City DRAW - Pts - Villa(31), City(29), QPR(25)....good, above QPR (A) City LOSE - Pts - Villa(31), City(28),QPR(25)....good, above QPR (B) City WIN - they remain above both Villa and QPR....Pts - City(31),Villa(29),QPR(26)...good (B) City DRAW - Pts - City(29),Villa(29),QPR(26)....good (B) City LOSE - Pts - Villa(29), City(28),QPR(26)...tighter (C) City WIN - Pts - City(31),Villa (28),QPR(28)....unless QPR beat Villa by >1 goal....good (C) City DRAW - Pts - City (28), Villa (28), QPR(28)...unless QPR beat Villa by >1 goal....too tight (C) City LOSE (by less than 6 goals) - City remain above both Villa & QPR...... Pts - City (28 pts) ,Villa(28 pts), QPR (28pts). Order depends on tonights score....extremely tight. Conclusion: Villa Win best situation for City if there was only one game left in the season if City get any result in their game in hand. Probably also the best result for City even with 7 games to go.

Jesus Christ it looks like Steven Hawkins taken over the thread with all these numbers and stats My heads spinning
....what ? I was watching the game live as I composed the ****...no change in my opinion...not the best result for us, but not disastrous 'cos QPR didn't get 3 points.
