I have had some back issues over the years. Some 'experts' say it is down to the fact that I have a leg length imbalance and other 'experts' say that I don't even have a leg length imbalance. I was once being treated by a back specialising physio, who had worked at Wimbledon and with the British Bob sleigh team who insisted I mustn't wear shoe implants. I also had a podiatrist, who was woking with Pompey FC, who insisted that I should. I eventually got the on the phone to one another and they 'agreed to disagree'. The bottom line is everyone is different and we'll just have to hope the Saints medical people have done the right thing and basically, wait and see.
Whatever, too many lame excuses for why we aren't scoring at the moment, someone has to foot the blame. It's time we trod on a few toes and got these players back up to speed.
Lallana was another one with an odd running style, lots of eccentric laterial movement, as a result appeared to lack much forward thrust. Anyway now at Liverpool with Henderson who runs like he's He-Man, from the eponymous poorly animated cartoon from the 80's.
Truth is, we don't stretch a good back line enough. We're not getting behind them because they all play so sodding deep to stop us. And we don't have enough creativity to get around those teams often enough. Having said that, we have no midfielders with a truly accurate snap shot on them from outside the area. And we don't cross the ball accurately and often enough into the area from the wings, to give Pelle some heading practice. Another truth is that we have a better chance of scoring against a team around us as they come out to play, leaving gaps at the back. But they have excellent players at the back and all-round so it's still very hard. We've lost the scoring habit and now we're thinking too hard about getting it back and we've run out of ideas. We have to do it with the same personnel because the squad is thinnish. This squad shouldn't be too hard on themselves though because simple analysis will show them that by conceding so few we have always been in a match, and but for the paralysis in front of goal this club may well have been playing Champions League football next season. Europa is a step I would have preferred not to take, but so be it if it happens.
We won't know until he plays a game. When does Jay have a op so he can talk? Also his legs are skinny as hell.

You just know everyone is going to wince when the first tackle goes in on him from an opposition player...
