Hahaha. What a great wonderful match. So their unbeaten run shown to be just luck. The RS shown to be a poor poor team and Brenda outclassed. Totally owned by a geriatric Dutch git. #brendaforlife
The hype and lucky run exposed. The run started after meeting us and ended after meeting us again. Even City couldn't do it. We did it very easily. #rswakeuptoreality...
It was obvious what Rogers tactics were today, especially at half time "We aint winning this lads, we're being outclassed. Lets kick the fck out of them and do some damage to their best players so we can try and fck up the rest of their season." #dirtytactics
There is complete meltdown on the RS board. Sickfool and PMK have been giving it large since they lucked into 2nd place. Now it is all despair since they've been found out to be a load of crap. Totally shagged senseless by LVG and Wenger Many RS fans are in despair and calling for Brenda's thick head. I did say that missing the title by a whisker is just the worst thing that can happen to them. They've always gone backwards several steps when that happens. And they say I was wumming. The Turd has disappeared completely. Far from charting United demise, the turd with his graphs has been chronicling LVG progress through the season so much so that he has stopped doing it. The graph week by week of the RS is so lovely to see.
Seems the problem at Anfailed goes far deeper Christian. Stevieme on the way out, but he has been pretty useless this season. Stirling wants out, Sturridge is on permanant sick leave, and now it seems Brenda has lost the respect of the dressing room. But did he ever have control?. Now we have Henderson, the so called future captain and leader refusing a new contract! Isn't life wonderful .
Stamping Stevie may have had a poor season but without him in the team they severely lack leadership. Who was supposed to drive them on after Arsenal had overrun them? Henderson? Allen? Lucas?
Liverpool are going to be so much fun next season. For us, not them. Its going to be horrible for them when they spend a season flirting with a bottom half finish.
Liverpool and learn in the same sentence? Can tell Styles had one hell of a bank holiday weekend. Bet hes not been to sleep since Wednesday.
In today's Mirror : Brendan Rodgers faces dressing room crisis after accusing Liverpool stars of not playing for him By Adrian Kajumba The Reds were humiliated at Arsenal in Saturday's do-or-die top four encounter and Rodgers now faces the greatest test of his Anfield career Brendan Rodgers is facing a major dressing room crisis at Liverpool. The Anfield boss called a meeting after training at Melwood yesterday and accused several players of not playing for him. Some senior players spoke up angrily against Rodgers as they were left incensed at the accusation. Some have been left disaffected in recent weeks and now Rodgers is facing the biggest test of his reign at Anfield. ------------------------------------------- It gets better and better for the RS
They're still reaping the aftermath of Benitez' disastrous last couple of seasons tbh. When Glen Johnson is still getting £100,000 to sit around on his arse, it's not surprising Sterling and Henderson want more. Tho' Rodgers has to take some of the blame too - every contract negotiation Liverpool have for the next four years will being with the phrase "Well Balotelli is getting £110k a week so I want..."
They could have easily recovered from the Benitez era though. As much as I dislike them I can admit they actually have a really good set up but they consistently spent large amounts of money on players they aren't good enough to be at a top four club.
I don`t think i have seen any other team with 4 consecutive managers buy so many duds. Brendan is the worst in quantity against time but has the fact he is young as a mittigating factor. Kenny was too out of date and probably should have had advisors Roy spent very little and his players were never going to be given a chance Raffa had a scatter gun approach, buy 6 players for 6-10 mil each and hope one comes good All in all, they either need a manager who knows what he is doing or a DoF.
They could have recovered, the problem is that they haven't. They have continued the pattern Benitez set in his last two years of identifying players who are having one or two good seasons and then massively overpaying for them. Keane, Johnson and Aquilani were followed by Carroll, Downing, Adam, Allen, Borini, Mignolet, Lovren, Lallana, Moreno and Balotelli, none of whom are good enough to be at a top four side, let alone one aspiring to the title. And it's not so much the transfer fee as the wages. If you pay a big fee then you accept it, swallow the loss and move on. The problem comes with the wages - once Gerrard leaves then Balotelli and Johnson will be the highest earners at the club, despite being bench warmers at best. It was a lot easier to keep salary demands down when the manager could point at Gerrard and say there's a club legend who has played hundreds of games, scored goals and won trophies, your salary will be set at a proportion of what he gets. Now the players can point at Balotelli and say if that lazy lump of **** gets £110k a week then I'm worth much more than that. That's the message the agents will be putting in Sterling and Henderson's ears every week Balotelli and Johnson steal their wages for doing **** all.
Some of the comments on this thread are hurtful and unkind, once I forgot about football completely I had a lovely bank holiday weekend.
