I'd be happy with any win on Monday, but if we can add a few to our GD, then that's a bonus!!!

Fully agree, other than Boro we should be rolling over all these teams. Unfortunately that simply hasn't been the case for this team. I think the Bolton game will be the hardest as they have a well organised defence. Leeds never seem that solid to me, Wednesday at home should be a win and Rotherham and Fulham have been piss poor. We just have to hope we play like we have against Millwall or the 5-0 vs Huddersfield rather than the Wigan game.

Hope Fulham will be safe by the time we play them. They've had an awful season an I imagine they're just waiting for it to end. Can't see much fight coming from them if their season is over.
We're probably the favorites (perhaps bar the Boro game) for every remaining game. We just can win all 6, we won't but neither will our rivals.

I think we're going to win a heck of a lot of them though! Middlesbrough is obviously a must win as things stand, but I don't think we'll be able to afford dropping more than 4 points in the other games.

Is it just me that thinks that Bournemouth have the easiest run-in? or am I missing something?

On paper yes, but their next two fixtures are both localish derbies away at Brighton and Reading. I think if you offered them 4 points now they would snap your hand off.

Good shout. I dont fancy our away fixtures at Leeds and Bolton though! Leeds are very hit and miss and Bolton have a resolute defense. Hopefully after putting ourselves in a great position we can avoid any slip ups!

Well it is probably nearer than Norwich v Ipswich Fleet. It sounds like I will have to get the atlas out again.

Most teams have about 10 other clubs that are closer than Norwich to Ipswich.

Reading to Bournemouth is 86.4 miles, so quite a bit further than the "Old Farm!"

Brighton's nearest derby is Crystal Palace! Bournemouth's rise is fairly recent though, so it could now be a Derby. Given how difficult Brighton made it for us, they could give Bournemouth a test. Not sure about Reading though.

A special thanks to JR for the fixture list, which I've now printed out. It's going to be an exciting last 5 games anyway!

Not an expert but surely the four South Coast clubs constitute derbies - Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and Brighton?

I lived in sussex and worked in Brighton for 20 years up to 2000, EastEnd, and Palace was definitely the local derby in those days. Southampton to a lesser intent, but that was long ago. It could well be Bournemouth now.

I stand corrected Dave and apologies to Fleet. Please note Carrubah, it didn't hurt!

The key to all this seems how many opposition teams can stifle/blunt Watford!

We worry about playing a poor Fulham at home for our final game, but Bournemouth are away to Charlton at the same time. Give me our game every time, Bournemouth will not find it easy getting three points from that match.

It is just that Fulham is a bogey team and it wouldn't matter if they were in the Doc Martins League Division 2 they would still probably beat us!

Sheffield Wednesday had a similar record against us. How did that match end?
