Earlier today I saw Sean Derry, Ali Faurlin and Clint Hill in Tamps Coffee Bar in Devonshire Road, Chiswick. (Ali often hangs out there). A couple of hours later they were joined by Joey Barton (wearing the type of cap that Lenin and Liverpool beat poets used to wear) and a rich looking Asian businessman (Malaysian?).

I wonder if Sean Derry is being given a coaching or scouting job with us now that he is unemployed. That could be a good move given his work ethic and his knowledge of lower league players.

Perhaps that's our management team for next season.

Good skills rebel, I like the sound of that.

Nice Ties, maybe CR could give a cravat a run out at WBA.

At least that crew got stuck in, and got on with the job. Really not sure what Kevin Bond does in our grand scheme of things - I would bring in Shaun Derry on a small retainer for inspiration and tap in on his limited managerial experience - hopefully that charlatan Steve Black, spouting all his BS, has been shown the door?

Now this was a good management team:-

Ron Phillips Football Programme editor icon; all those squares with the little black football figures dotted about randomly. The bush telegraph, a proper letters page and brilliant black and white photographs by John Bough. God I used to love the home programmes ; nowadays they are crap and aimed at people with an attention span of 15-20 seconds.
