He was doing light work last week. So looks like he will finally step things up(I have heard nothing yet apart from when I said he was only doing light work). Still not as close as Jay or his team have kept saying tho.
I think it was very good of us to offer an extended contract to a player with a serious leg injury, but after set backs I would withdraw it until after we saw how fit he really is. Perhaps Les Reed should just keep his foot on the contract for now. We've been honourable...up to him now.
Koeman just said Jay is in the final stage of his recovery and is training with the group. Thinks he can play in three, maybe four weeks.
Just in time for one or two games and then off to Spurs?! He's gonna score the winner at City (where he got his injury.) you heard it here first
I'd be quite surprised at this point of anyone bids high enough in the summer. Massive risk. please log in to view this image
What's our line up when he's fit then? Tadic Mane Jrod Wanyama Morgan JWP Bert alder Fonté Clyne Forster?
JRod will be available...not the same as being picked. Depends on how the other strikers are doing and how we are doing in the league. Do we risk him at all? A couple of good games would increase interest in him....but a fresh injury would be a blow whether we keep him or try to sell him. Didn't Koeman say a couple of weeks back that JRod would be here next season? A question: Imagine JRod belonged to another team...would we be excited about signing a player that had missed a season?
