Surprised you haven't had any responses yet. I'm not but will be next year when I move to West London. Just waiting to finish my sodding postgraduate! Am I right in thinking living in London will be better for most away games? Home matches are only a speedy 1h 20 on the train from Waterloo.
Hi Guys, don't know if you're aware but there is a London Saints supporters club (I'm currently Vice-chairman). As well as organising sports and social events for London based Saints fans, we also help with tickets and travel. Members just have to let us know when they want to go to a game and we will purchase your ticket and cheapest possible train travel (for away games) for you, and all you have to do is turn up on the day and give us the money. There are usually a good number of us that travel together and we always get to the destination with plenty of drinking time! More details can be found at : www.londonsaints.com And we're also on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/londonsaints And you can follow us on Twitter with @londonsaints . Don't hesitate to write back or private message/email me if you have any questions or think you may like to join.
Welcome to the Saints site........ for_heaven's_saint................... am glad you have joined. Nice also to see you trying to get together with other Saints fans in London. Anything KingslandSFC or I can do to help just Pm us and we will do what we can.
Cheers mate and thanks for the offer of help! The London Saints are actually a long established club (over 30 years old) and currently have just over 200 members, so there are plenty of us up there- but we're always looking for new members!
Seem to remember that sometimes players stopped off to meet LondonSaints..is that right. Think I saw it in a programme in my Dell days.
Yep that's correct. Last season we had a load of ex-saints up for a charity fund raising evening, which was a great success. Prior to that we've had countless evenings with players and managers over the years and we're hoping to get Adkins and Cortese up at some point in the coming season.
Im Northlondon, as my name suggests. when ever i see a saints fan in london i get all excited like its Christmas Isnt londonsaints for the older generation though?
NW london here. The trip to Wembley in the JPT was a few stops on the train, easy as! Never forget walking down Baker Street that night and seeing the restuarants that I often go to absolutely rammed with Saints fans. What a day/night!
Hi All, In Honor Oak at the moment but moving to Penge in a couple of weeks. Anyone got any plans for watching the Leeds game in that neck of the woods?
Muswell Hill, London N10, deep in the heart of gooner country. I do feel a little outnumbered at times. Will check out LondonSaints, someone put me on to them a few years ago but I never followed it up.
The original members are obviously a fair bit older now (!) but we have all different ages, for example I'm only 21.
Oh right, I've always held back from joining because i thought it was mainly older men. How do you join?
