Anyone watching this? Isla in the team, Vargas on the bench. Chile are a great side to watch, shame none of it rubs off on QPR when they're playing for us...

They'd have to start.

Saw the beginning and Chile look so good on the ball. Make Brazil look like bus-parking relegation battlers.

Isla looked very good, making lots of runs down the right and supporting Sanchez well. Basically Brazil mugged them. Chile deserved the win, even a draw would have been more than Brazil deserved. Vargas made a few runs but wasn't on for long enough to make any difference.

Good results today for Scotland and Northern Ireland but the Republic are struggling in their vital match against Poland, 1-0 down at half time...

It's a shame Coleman didn't shoot like that last week.

These Poles like to go down easy.

Who were all those people in green jumping about at the end then? Live green poles?

15,000 Poles at the game apparently. The Irish haven't been taken by the National side and didn't take up their tickets. It seems rugby has taken over as the nations favourite sport*.

* The domestic sports ( Hurling & Gaelic football ) possibly excepted.

There were definitely more Poles than that Nines. It looked like there was more red in the ground than green. They would have bought tickets off the Ireland fans so I reckon they had 25k there mate.

Cripers! That's nearly half of the stadium.
