Not sure if it is common or not but not really too surprising (for me at any rate). Thanks to the constant high temperatures, Carp will grow very quickly all year round, providing enough food is thrown at them. :emoticon-0148-yes:

This was almost certainly caught in southern Thailand, where all the 'great' fisheries are to be found.

The Carp in that picture is not the same as the Carp back in the UK, the shape pf the mouth is wrong. Not certain what variant it is though.

It's a Siamese carp.
