Overall though.. yet again the ones that stayed quiet a lot were the guilty ones and got away with it...

Valley & Freeman weren't even close to being put up for lynching and although they did contribute it was in small doses so went with no suspicion

Yeah pretty classic mafia stuff, really wasn't helped just by the large amount of genuine inactivity. Magic, RHC and Gooner especially and a couple of others being inactive helped them blend in and by comparison they looked practically integral to the game haha.

*EDIT* Keep still thinking as a town, we won so actually well done me I was just subconciously setting my future mafia self up for the victory!

You were the only person to figure out what was happening with RHC and if he had given you even the slightest bit of help the town may well not have lost, or at least las test another couple of days.

I had been confirmed in the paper FFS If you thought I was recruited that meant the paper couldn't have been so it wouldn't have said I was GM

Billy did all the hard work... he just shared with me and I felt that I should share the info he knew because was better him staying alive than me, and the fact I had been confirmed as GM I might have had more influence than he would.

well...for the serious answer... MITO never really confirmed outright that the paper couldn't be hacked/owned by Italian mafia due to them recruiting previous night as far as i could see. it was a very cryptic reply. Although 'self confirmed' GM, you 'could' have been converted (unless i missed something last night). As i couldn't log into the site today for some reason, I only had access to the Russion Mafia private board. Nozzer couldn't give me a steer and Swarbs was busy at work. So I just ordered 2 hits.

For the not so serious answer, I just wanted you dead to shut you the **** up!

Also, I avoided another lynch on day one. Then despite being fingered in the paper, I got no attention and not one single vote after that first day lol

Actually the really critical moment came when Russians wanted to do something but swarbs was blocked


In short in other games if a don got hit the game was over the Russians had a chance today they had two kills in money but had not figured out who to hit

Had the Russians selected any Italians then they could have won and if they'd selected two the town could have won

And yes I prodded them hard to act today

Anyone could have won today had decisions been one way or the other

Eg if Russians selected say everyone but the Italian Don to die it would have been

1 v 1 v 1 plus magic what happens then? Nobody would have enough cash and billy if he lived would have had kill so that would have been a call!

In short the only team who listed all the names were the Italians

Also ibwt you posted and I recorded you on observation thread. You listed everyone out with ?? In some and an assumption in another role but failed to list out the remaining names. If you had done this you would have figured everyone out

That was the note I left so if I was killed earlier than I expected to be my sidekick would have something to help prove his innocence and role. It didn't need to save him but if even a couple of people doubted he was mafia the town would of had some info to go on today based on who wouldn't switch off him or consider his innocence.

Obviously the above note is mainly useful for people who recognise things like my use of certain smiley faces, lots of !!! And the use of "clearly". Topped off by mentioning the additional rules in regards to money that I had mentioned very early in the game.

But apparently even when he was certain to die and couldn't convince anyone of his innocence it still wasn't even worth posting... Grrrrr

As a mafia, we couldn't tell if RHC was the cop or opposition mafia (didn't matter for us, we wanted himd ead either way), but it soon became clear that he was the cop, and then it was just bizarre watching the entire town unanimously vote off their cop with no resistance from almost anyone. No wonder Bod and afc were making posts to try and get you to sort yourselves out!

Lol i didnt pick up on many clues at all. I just went for people i suspected. I couldnt tell who was innocent or not. Knew mikey and billy were innocent and that i was suspicious of ibwt but let him go in the end. Really hard to go targetting people as i didnt have that many bullets.

Im happy to try do a mafia come monday. Dunno how to set up a board and stuff though. Deffo helps getting through the lack of an international weekend. Only thing is i cant promise to always make the newspaper and other deadlines though

Tbh I thought the critical moment came earlier when the Italians were able to identify me by trying to recruit me, but stayed anonymous. I didn't even realise it had happened until you told us on our board the next day. If I'd have found out Valley was the Italian don the same time they found out I had a role it could have been a really interesting game of chicken between us - we definitely need to decide what happens if Mafia decide to recruit Mafia next time!

From that point on I was always going to be handicapped as they were going to block me every chance they got, assuming I was either vigilante or Russian

Valley and Obi Wan did do well to stay right under the radar. Trev not so much as he would have been assassinated by us had I not been blocked. Critically tho', Valley was their don whilst Obi Wan was our prozzie, so that meant the Italians were able to act all the time without being blocked or second guessed.

We definitely exposed our don too soon - none of us realised that an action would definitely be witnessed every night, so we didn't realise how much of a risk it was to recruit on night 1.

P.S. The police board from this game looks like the Mason board from the last game
