If you look the decision the town took at times were what imbalanced it... from my side i do not think the mafia had it easy.

1. valley was never ever even put under pressure once... why? he skirted by constantly. no town person ever question him

2. Billy had a 100% hit record on investigations and got blocked twices so out of he found 3 mafia! his choce of communication is understandable. I find with all the tricks and smoke and mirrors people need a slap in the chops to realise what you are saying

3. After nozzer died the town stopped thinking... you guys did. Bobby held his kills and got results but the town stopped working to dig out mafia and went for two day son an unending queit perdiod where you should have realised each time hey... this isn;t right nobody cares this person will die. you had lots and lots of players over an above each individaul mafia team to win this.

4. the cop could kill he had 25k to hire the hit. you all agreed to recruit to have investigator... sorry but the perosn selected was not able to play. this kill never happened. I wants NOBODY to knwo wh odid each kill.. only the team selecting it would know.

5. the witness was the only imbalance in my view and it tipped the thing to the town as it was too active. I made it up as a role in terms of powers. the person coudl see too small a pool of actions so did see stuff. night one it was mikey.. it had big imact. thereafter actually one night one mafia did rhc who was witness and he was blocked...

6. the journo could have a hit too if you all sent in classifieds. you had the info he was getting money for it.. think about it... a town role was ccumulating money.. oce i stopped pushing then they did off... The journo's stellar hit rate made him enough for a hit if the game was still running... 10 classifieds a day x 500 = 5000 per day... he got nowhere near that... he was making moeny off articles too....

in short the mafia had powers and used them the town had powers and did not.... some luck existed in the game too.

And then last night i really ****ed up and its written down how in observations. I didn't keep consistency i nwhat i did for russians in particular. They are the team that suffered. I did a coin flip between serial killer and vigilante when actually i should have let gerrez kill biscan last night then have him have a bullet poorf vest (his secret)

that really affected the last day but in reality i i stop apologizing... the game was pretty much in the italians hands. The journo knew swarbs was guilty form day 2 but didn't cotton on right... IBWT should have died and as such we should have seen a different vote today but swarbs should have had a big fight on his hands as if you read the italian baord they knew who was how by making notes the prior day!

anyway thats just that..... I reckon if we tidied up these rules and added robustness to what i learned from run 1 you'd fine on a couple more runs that the town could win and the others coudl win... the serial killer had hardest job but i has said if he got recruited to mafia he could have hid out a while and won too.

I fail to see how IBWT dying would have made any difference, he and Billy were the only ones helping the town. If anything it would have been game over last night, with both masons gone and no one to back up the perenially blocked journo.

Other random postgame thoughts:
I wanted you to recruit me so badly IBWT!

Happy to win but kind of annoyed as still a bit of a town at heart! Frustrated I didn't trust my gut as I really had a strong feeling RHC was the deputy transferred from Magic, and on the night where gooner was lynched from a three way tie I was so, so close to swinging the vote with the double vote I had that night onto Valley, also wanted to do Gerrez night one when he was on a tied lynch, but he did us a favour by killing Danilo that night, though i witnessed him be recruited anyway I guess.

The paper was a really interesting dynamic, important info was placed in secretive places and the classifieds were a clusterfuck, personally I just dismissed them as there was so much nonsense and we couldn't be at all sure where the info came from, maybe should have spent more time scouring it all but think the clues are easier to figure out mainly in hindsight.

The Russkies got shafted so hard haha with the early serial killing and me witnessing.

Oh, and if the Mafia had recruited me my role would have been awesome :)

That would have been awesome... inside job, taking them out one by one without them even knowing <laugh>

I don't know about others who have been freemasons... but other than knowing 1 person is innocent for about 1 night (was actually more this game because an unknown recruitment didn't happen until about night 3) then it seems a pointless power to me?

The game wasn't balanced towards mafia. If gerrez didn't try and kill me I feel town would of been in with a very good chance of winning.

True but equally, killing me destroyed the towns chances too. The town needed to use the serial killer and the serial killer needed the town. I just couldn't allow the town to have the or more known innocence as that would have made you as powerful as the Mafia.

I really was on a road to no where. Very little chance of winning and no matter to work with. However, best game yet as far as I'm concerned.

I did suggest to MITO that the hitman should have been a player and part of my team. Hitman kills to earn money and the serial spends it killing players. The hitman can choose whether to carry out the action or not, looks guilty if he doesn't but he could have been blocked too.

Mikey you had nailed it, literally needed RHC to do anything other than act like he was totally guilty <laugh>

Was never going to recruit you after it was confirmed you were the witness.... meant

1. You had no role so were of no important to me (harsh but true <laugh>)
2. You were prime target for recruitment by one of the mafia members.

Should have done the honourable thing and jumped off that building yourself then :bandit:

Just for clarity.. who was in the Italian Mafia?

We know Valley was don from Billy investigations.
We assumed Mikey was recruited as a goon.

Guessing Freeman was the prossy given Valley jumped on Obi a minute ago?

FINALLY manage to get on and it's all over!! FFS! <laugh>

So we're calling it a draw then! :bandit::bandit:

Great game gents, I had a blast. Kinda glad it's all over though! <laugh>
And thanks MITO, that really can't have been easy to keep track of. <applause>

At one point yesterday there would have only been one town left as the targets were billy and ibwt yesterday and.... The prostitute changed their mind too

I let my wife go off to slimming world which she did at 7:30 I was so focused on getting the thing out I messed up

Those moaning about unbalance want to try being on a one man team with just a pocket full of bullets for company!

I couldn't even guarantee a kill. Going for the chief, Don, vigilante or hitman was risking my own life. And remember, killing the Don didn't kill the Don. In theory I had nine targets that if I attacked they could kill me instead!

Now that's having the odds attacked against you!!! <laugh>

You can make plans together and influence voting without openly saying you know someone who is innocent, but I always end up with someone who is inactive so it's useless anyway as you spend the whole time trying to protect them.

Stop pretending you didn't know I was the prossie, needle dick! Strange how you didn't try to vote me off after our wild night (well, 1 1/2 minutes) of passion. Some might even think you actually enjoyed all that weird sh1t.

Oh, and Bobby was killing Magic until MITO made the announcement. He then switched to me!

Me? I wasn't even informed I was taken by the prossie? When was this <laugh>

But you don't know who is innocent and who is guilty... you can't investigate so really yes you can influence and possibly try and help save your teammate if he is up for lynching as well but really you're guessing until someone shares info with the whole players.

Yeah it isn't an incredibly useful power lol
