Fair point. Ok well as I'm offline any minute I will start with a vote for magic [\b].

I'll try to catch up on newspaper and other developments at lunchtime.

 

Just a dead guy sticking his oar in, but can we ban magic from signing up if he isn't going to be active?
I got nothing against the guy, but if he signs up and is given a role, then it kinda ruins the game if he is not going to participate.
Knowing our luck he won the Police recruit role and is our inactive copper.

 

Or he's mafia and playing a clever game of staying hidden and only communicating with his team?

I can understand him being less active maybe, but if he isnt going to make a single post, it surely cannot be fun for him?

Available today (as promised yesterday) - Pair of big, big Russian Mafia shoes made from expensive genuine faux leather (may or may not be genuine mafia shoes).

One pair in stock - Saville Row quality brogues, approved by Big Apple masons everywhere, slightly soggy but at least these ones are clean.

Still not arrived (due to town not getting the clue that was staring them in the face) - Stunning Guncci Italian Patent Leather shoes. Exactly the same as those worn by legendary Big Apple Mafia goon Astro Turfio. Likely to have slight scuff marks made from kicking many cats.

 

It seems someone or some people are trying to tell us exactly what's going on in the paper and classified but we're being too stupid to realise it

Been trying to catch up from last night and then trying to understand paper/clues(?). Never was any god (meant good but god will do just as well) at the cryptic crosswords.

Yeah appreciate the effort the journo has put in but they have tried to be too sly about getting information out rather than just giving it to town.

I shall have to leave piecing the puzzle together to the rest of you as I won't be back until about 6 or 7 at which point I will endeavour to figure out the nonsense of the day's events and lead town in the right direction.

Here's what I will leave you with:
I don't think we should lynch Magic, as annoying as that is.
Now is the time to make big plays as we are on a wing and a prayer at this stage, so if anyone thinks they have a card up their sleeve they should be playing it.
The Grandmaster needs to recruit, I tried to suggest they should recruit me so they would be known to me without being obvious but apparently they didn't see it or didn't understand so its too late for it to be me now.
The Vigi needs to come up with another magic bullet.
At this stage I'm pretty certain one of IBWT or Gerrez are dirty.
Journo should follow someone who's going to get killed.
We're going to lose.

Id say to the grandmaster only recruit if you know something for definte though. Ideally you want to recruit the journo or vigilante as you can then work together.... Rather than recruit a Mafia member who you will then be suspicious about.

I think I might know who it is (or a couple of targets) and I have a reason as to why but not sure if sharing would be helpful or more a hinderance at the moment so going to keep quiet on that front.
