I dont expect you to get this, I really don't. It wasn't just that his money saved the club, its his entire business approach that has completely and utterly turned our club around and the laying of foundations that will ensure we enjoy that for a long time to come, and the building up of the youth set up, and the attracting an awesome manager and letting him actually manage.

Its way more than simply saving us.

You're damn right there ^^^^^^^

I think its just a threat.

Where are we in the table? Will our league position affect the selling price? If he sells us in 10 days how much of his money will he get back? How much has Allamhouse lent the two stadium management companies? The man knows the price of everything concerning Hull City and he'll know how much he'll lose if he sells now. Will he do that to his children and grandchildren? If he did would you really want him running our club?

There is nothing to asset strip apart from the players. If we stay in the Premier League we will be rolling in cash. He has created the foundations for a well-run successful club. A new owner could build on those foundations, get a deal with the council and maybe take us to the next level. Whether that happens is up for debate, but that's what was available to Assem Allam when Alan Johnson, Ed Miliband and countless others tried and failed to broker a deal with the Council.

As I've said before I've never taken anything you've said as an insult. You make me think. I don't always agree with you but you make me think.

You're wasting your breath, Obi. Happy is a disciple.

The thing that has always perplexed me a little is the change in transfer policy from 2011/12 to 2012/13 season.

Pearson and Barmby where scraping around for free's and loans mostly. Then the following season under Bruce we spent £7m on big wages.

Did the fall out with and not been able to develop the stadium make AA realise he could only make money if we got promoted to the Premier League?

Absolutely nothing as far as I'm aware but I thought the point I was trying to make was pretty obvious. But as you missed it......

You said:

My point was all of this couldve applied to Savile: "Oh he did some terrible things but as long as he does good for charity..."
He raised an estimated £40m for charity, why do you think he was knighted? It doesnt stop him from being a vile human being.

I thoroughly dislike both of the Allams, but the comparison to Jimmy Savile is unfair. AA is using nothing more than hard-nosed, ethically poor, business shenanigans to piss everyone off; many of us dislike him and his methods, but he is a million miles from being a Savile. His benevolence grates, but it is very useful to those who do and might need it. We should keep our argument in perspective and let the silly old sod and his ridiculous son be the ones to talk ****e.

Pearson would have made it clear (he can't help himself) that he was unhappy with AA as his boss and Barmby was always an interim appointment, he was used.

I'm not no, I made a mistake. I'm a complete an' utter pillock for thinking that Allam and the Council would set aside their personal spite and do something for the good of the City and our club.

A broken clock is right twice a day, this may be my time.

You're a sundial and it's a tad overcast. <cheers>

I don't believe he is. Having discussed with him over a long time I think he makes statements to see if he gets a sensible response. If he does he takes some of it on board. Like all of us he's trying to come to terms with how a man that saved our club and took us to an FA Cup final ended up in this position. It takes a lot of imagination to realise it all comes down to Geraghty not saying please or thank you and the council refusing to part with the freehold of the KC.

As Steve Bruce said, its in our DNA.

Bollocks sunshine there might not of been a Hull City in the PL but I guarentee there would still of been a Hull City. Hull City have come back from near extingshen than you have **** yourself and they would of come back Allam or not.
Thought you were a bit old to still believe in fairy tales, we were millions in dept with no assets how do you think we would have survived! !

If you read all his tweets including replies to others he also said he believed one buyer was from China, but he then later deleted it I think

@bbcburnsy: Final thought from me on Hull City tonight. I think one of the potential buyers of the club is from China. [HASHTAG]#hcafc[/HASHTAG]

And he also said that AA had admitted things were mainly due to the spat with the council, and that we are to blame for not questioning the council on his behalf!
@bbcburnsy: @englishtiger2 He admits the row with the Council is at the root of it. He feels the fans should have asked more questions of the council.

I didnt compare him to Savile.

So whats the point of all these tweets from fatty burns. Is there going to be an interview played on Humberside eventually? Or is he just making himself important?

Jimmy Savile?

This simple question you posted to Filey was enough to infer total comparison; It was only when challenged you backtracked and qualified with clearer definition that it was a principle you were raising and not a direct comparison to Jimmy Savile. Which is good because I think it has become unwise to use Savile as any form of comparison, except like fir like sex offenders.

He's after a position on the HCST board I reckon.

Or he might be the "local celebrity" they've been promising for some time now to wheel out.

No it wasnt, that's not the case at all. I CLEARLY stated that you cannot not criticise someone doing unsavoury things just because they also do a lot of good for charity. Which is precisely what Filey did say. I never once mentioned our chairman and linked him to Jimmy Savile or compared their respective unsavoury activities and if other people did that how is that my fault? I will not accept any accusation or suggestion that I compared Mr Allam with Jimmy Savile and to suggest otherwise is completely ****ing out of order.
