Fulham play Wigan (at home) on 10th April. If they win that game, I would imagine they will be on the beach on the last day. The also have Rotherham (at home) for their next game too, so could effectively condemn both sides to relegation (A nasty little habit they have). Then to round it off, they are away to Blackpool the following week. The three 'easiest' teams to play, one after the other, very useful for them.
Can you seriously imagine any AN led team allowing this fan fuelled concept to be allowed to affect the players? Three points for the taking if you ask me.
I don't believe the past counts for much on match day but Fulham test my beliefs more than most! However, results do show that we haven't found it any easier to play teams lower down the league. I think it all comes back to an inability to break down teams that set out to defend. We probably shouldn't be too worried if the lower placed teams do need three points at the end of the season. It may work in our favour.
Could well be that both Rotherham and Fulham are safe by the time we play them. Would imagine they might struggle to get fired up for our games so much, especially if we really need the points.
Ruddy's error for the goal was a shocker, but in his defence the ball dipped and swung really bizarrely. Still should have done better, but it wasn't easy
Pretty much as I saw it. Certainly seemed to dip suddenly just before he got his hands on it but they were a bit wooden. He would have been kicking himself. I'm actually not that surprised he didn't get in the England team. He's had ups and downs this season and has dropped a few too many clangers . Not having a solid defence for a lot of the season didn't help obviously.
To get called up from the championship you have to be on stunning form and he hasn't been. He's not been terrible just not as assured as he has been.
