Liverpool close gap on top four
Jordan Henderson's freak goal moves Liverpool back within two points of a Champions League place as they win at Swansea.

<laugh> first deflected goal ever scored in the Premier League [HASHTAG]#bitter[/HASHTAG]

That top bit got me, Pool, United and Arsenal are all in the same position points wise as they were on friday. If they had said top two, fair enough :grin:

For years [HASHTAG]#bbcsalford[/HASHTAG] have ignored the concept of game weeks. If Man Utd won their game 5 minutes before we did they still would have "opened a gap" and we would have then "closed the gap"

They actually used the exact same line on Sky tonight <laugh>

"Five straight wins. Unbeaten in 2015. Six consecutive clean sheets away from home. 32 points from the last 36.
Yes, it's fair to say that Liverpool are the Premier League's form side, and after a 1-0 win at Swansea, manager Brendan Rodgers believes his side can overtake Manchester City and finish second.
However, the win wasn't without good fortune as Jordan Henderson's winner came via an unintentional deflection from Jordi Amat's clearance. Will their luck hold?"

As opposed to all those intentional deflections right? [HASHTAG]#snooker[/HASHTAG]

Will the luck hold? So all that unbeaten in 2015 stuff was luck too? [HASHTAG]#luckedout[/HASHTAG]

Hendo's goal wasn't luck. He'd precisely calculated the speed and trajectory that the ball would come off the defender's foot and made sure he was in exactly the right position to deflect it into the net.
Genius.

<whistle>

He also swapped to the correctly contoured shinpads at half time
