Don't think Danilo can give anything away in his "I told you so" post, it's more just a general rant and get your anger out <laugh>

Those are definitely the 3 options and I'd say option 1 is about 90%, option 2 is about 7% and option 3 is about 3% given we're jus guessing on that actually being possible with no idea.

If 2 is correct... then it's a very strange game the mafia are playing? I'm trying to put my Mafia head on given I wa mafia in last couple to see what they would gain from that if Mikey was mafia and lying.... he's obviously given himself away but maybe a secret task that he has to get X amount of people to vote for Nozzer and he'll earn X amount for Mafia or be immune from eviction etc..? Again, no idea if those things exist (I know tasks of getting certain people voted for was mentioned beforehand when coming up with the rules which is why I suggested it now) but can we really make judgements on secret roles we don't know exist?

I need to sleep on this. Way too much to take in after a long, stressful day at work followed by doing most of my daughter's poster project on island formations/constructive plate tectonics! <yikes>

Option 2 is of course an actual possibility though obviously I know I'm telling the truth, but there is no reward for a mafia here it would just be a straight 1-for-1 trade which is nowhere near worth it, the only role worth taking out 1-for-1 would maaaybe be cop and obviously we know Nozzer isn't that. Just to clarify as well and throw any idea I don't know what I'm doing out the window I used to play quite a bit of mafia back in the day so I know how the game works and that this would just be an insane play for a mafia to make. The only way I could be mafia would be if Nozzer was also and I was bussing him, but there's no way you would bus the don in this set-up not to mention there's no way I could convince a bloke I don't even know to bus for me. Even in that world you lynch Nozzer first and then maybe remain suspicious of me even if he's mafia, which isn't a big concern as I will not survive the upcoming night.

I can't imagine option 3 being possible, having a 'secret' role not disclosed would be crazy, and even if it did somehow exist we have to play as if it didn't or we'll just run rings around ourselves trying to avoid theoretical secret roles that may trip us up.

Fair enough. I've only ever played the mafia game once and our experience (as Less Hope and Trev can testify) was of JPF changing the rules every day just to satisfy his own boredom and making us all the more confused and suspicious every day. There were conspiracy theories with counter theories. It was a case of trust no-one - not even those who had 'confirmed' roles. I think poor old Less Hope almost had a breakdown from the stress. <laugh>

From what I've seen in your prediction league, I can imagine how frantic your mafia game would have been!
 
Right, my usual working pattern dictates I will be on here:
> briefly first thing while on the train to Laaandan (and depending on mobile signal)
> verrry briefly at lunchtime - if I'm lucky!
> briefly some time between 6 - 8 depending on when I get my train back from Laaandan (and the mobile signal)

Otherwise, don't be surprised if I'm not logged on at all.

So based on the evidence so far, I will bank a vote for Nozzer.
 
Also just to throw this out there in case for some reason I'm not around tomorrow, and I expect I will not be alive in days after that when I'm actually proven, my biggest town is IBWT, Nozzer voted him day one and he comes across pretty innocent to me. Probably highest on my ****list is Gerrez at the mo, not a hard read just seemed a bit suspicious to me at times, nothing major though. Use that information as you see fit!

AFC you need to make that drink tank thing work for you.
Also we are forgetting that AFC set up the major crime squad as well, so we have another cop out there, whom AFC knows, for the moment at least, is definitely innocent, this will help.
 
Well, well, well. What an evening. First we hang an innocent man, then we kill a mafia, then Mikey comes out with his "report".As I see it, the options are:

  1. I'm the mafia don. Which I'm not, because I'm innocent. I know this for a fact, though I appreciate that you don't.
  2. Mikey is mafia and lying.
  3. Mikey is innocent and lying, i.e. being forced to say it by the mafia against his will
  4. Mikey is innocent and his information is wrong.
I don't think there any stated rules that allow 3 or 4, though both are certainly conceivable hidden rules, should there be any, so I certainly don't think we can rule them out.

Which leaves 2. Why lie (or force Mikey to lie in Scenario 3)? Well, the story they've come up with is pretty simple - we know from nightfall that the Russians recruited, and the Danilo died and was in the Russian mafia. It's pretty simple to put the story together, or, if they're the Russians they may even know it to be true (apart from me being the Don). Me being lynched serves them well as I'm either an innocent townie or opposition mafia. I have no way to disprove this myself, without revealing myself to have a role, which would play into their hands. The only other way to disprove it is if another witness comes forward to challenge the validity of the claim, which would mean that the mafia have sniffed out another townie. The witness also has the problem that if I get lynched anyway and it turns out that I'm from the other mafia, then they're screwed as well, which might make them refrain from revealing themselves at this stage. Looks even better for the mafia then.

It's perhaps also worth noting that IBWT has been supporting Mikey pretty vehemently in this, and Mikey has just said the IBWT seems almost certainly to be town. This makes it sound like they're either freemasons, or both mafia. Going after me seems a bit silly given that I voted IBWT in the first round (albeit pretty much just for fun), so that when/if I'm lynched tonight and people see I'm innocent, they'll then look at who I voted for, but then again, that's the sort of great game Biscan loves to play (remember his great move on the first day last time out?) Not saying it definately is IBWT, but that's my best guess at the moment.

For now, though, I'll unsurprisingly vote Mikey.
 
I can't and won't reveal anything. Though I will haunt you all through the classifieds if MITO allows me to.
 
Morning ****stains.

Last night wasn't great, we lost 2 townies (Less than, plus whoever the Ruski's recruited) and one mafia thanks to our friendly neighbourhood serial killer.
I gleaned a couple of things from Day 1 (The Nozzer thing aside) and so will be looking out in Day 2 to see if things coincide with my Day 1 suspicions.
I am not naming any names yet though.
