I did give the guy some benefit until a week ago when the Airco Arena stuff kicked off. It was confirmed last night. One major thing which made me think the guy is a totally stubborn is he said they couldn't develop the void space under the KC as it was not theirs and who would improve something they don't own. (We have heard all that before). Then in the next part of the interview he proclaims they are spending 250k improving the airco arena. Not not to knock his business acumen but someone should tell him he doesn't own that either....

I would imagine some of the office/void space under the KC could be developed for similar amounts of money. Even less. If you want a bar/restaurant to become a tenant all you need is a shell space and a reasonable tenancy agreement.

Also throughout the interview he referred to us being from East Yorkshire/ and mentioned ERYC and the region. The only time he mentioned Hull is when he said it was their problem to find the tenants of the arena a new home.

One thing I would think was possible is that there could be an empty industrial unit that could be converted in the city into a multi sports venue.

Suffice to say it confirms I wont be renewing my pass after 15 years of being a pass holder. I love the club but he is pulling it apart under the veil of progress. He is dividing the city and creating a them and us scenario. I wont be at Chelsea because the atmosphere won't be a good one, no matter the result.

It would be easier to convert it into an indoor football pitch and leave the current occupants in the Airco.

I've said many times, I think his end game is to drop the word Hull from our club name and just call us The Tigers.

You've missed the word "Allam" in front of the Tigers and the number 1904 at the end.
The 1904 bit will relate to the fans still following the old duffer.

If you go on the YouTube page, he already has pretty much done that.

I honestly think he's seen Juventus and their non geographical name meaning they're the best supported club in nearly every city outside Turin with 11million fans in Italy alone and thinks that will work for us. The fact that they've won 30 titles, European cups / Champions Leagues and are heavily linked with the national symbol of FIAT seems to be lost on him.

Interesting theory, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's never even heard of Juventus.

Are Juventus pissed off with the local council?

He's probably doesn't even know what Juventus is. Probably thinks its a type of car.

Are you a clairvoyant? How do you know the atmosphere against Chelsea won't be a good one?
If we beat them the place will be rocking.
Agree about the empty industrial unit idea. Taking it one step further, the city centre has several huge department stores that have been empty for twenty odd years and more.

Do you ever wonder if something else went on in the meeting with the council and allam.Cause i cant get my head round this hatred of the hcc and do wonder if something else was said or done to allam.

As he said previously, nobody tells him what to do and he simply couldnt / cant accept not getting his own way with the "offer" to "buy" the KC stadium. He's had a vendetta ever since.

Have I ever said how much I hate him?

I wonder when folk will realise that the way to show our absolute contempt for the Allam ownership is to demand that they leave as soon as they are able - just as they promised. The time for asking for him to drop the name change and stay as a respected owner is long, long gone. I have never liked this tactic, it gives him an air of respect he does not deserve (nor does he return it to the supporters) and it has not really worked; our name is disappearing, with or without the blessing of the FA. Demand that he leaves, emphasise his negatives, make it of media interest - but keep it polite and factual (in other words don't let Sir Cheshire Ben near the bugger! <laugh> ). Surely enough is now enough?

I find his facebook marketing amusing. I cannot find the official facebook page by typing any of the following into google:

Hull City facebook
Hull Tigers facebook
Hull Tigers official facebook

The only way I can find the page is by following the link from HullCityTigers.com. Genius!

I am no fan of many things that HCC do, but I can tell you it was his way or no way in that meeting. If you want to know how I know this I am happy to do so via PM!
