Good Morning Everyone, please log in to view this image Close to 3000 Leeds fans are making the long tonight to Craven Cottage to watch Fulham entertain the mighty Leeds Utd. Following recent good form, former Leeds strike force Matt Smith and Ross McCormack could link up together for the first time against their former employees. Fulham welcome back Venezuela international defender Fernando Amorebieta following his red card in the 5-1 defeat by Bournemouth. Midfielders Lasse Vigen Christensen (hamstring) and George Williams (cruciate) are still on the treatment table Redfearn has said he wants to take a look at some more academy players. Kalvin Phillips and Lewis Walters are both overdue and deserving of first team action. Could tonight be their debut's? Liam Cooper and striker Mirco Antenucci are both expected to play tonight. Austin (Thigh) and Byram (foot) are not match fit and are not expected to travel. January signing Granddi N'Goyi is edging closer to his first appearance following a thigh injury but is more likely to be in contention for his debut at Blackpool on Saturday. Back to the Breakfast Debate. Should the away goals rule be scrapped? Who likes it? Surely extra time and penalties is more exciting?
I'm hoping to find some streaming links for tonights game. In the meantime, here are the audio links Radio Link1: http://krbakken.mzzhost.com/ Radio Link2: http://tiny.cc/leedsunitedlivestreaming Radio Link3: http://leedsunitedlive.com/
Redders has released his tactics for tonight. Don't tell Fulham "If we can win, great. If not, don't get beat."
Morning all. Ive seen a few comments elsewhere about scrapping the away goals rule. Wonder if Chelsea and Arsenal had got through, how many calls would there have been? You all know the answer to that one. Dont think Redders will change much tonight. Mathematically were only safe when we reach 50 points so Id imagine he'll want to reach that target this week. Still reckon we'll easily make 60
Couldn't give a feck about "champions" league. It's overblown and all about the cash. Just like sky it's indicative of all that's wrong with football. The European Cup was miles better in terms of drama. Too many dull mean nothing games between also rans. Arsenal have no business being there. Looking forward to England's quota reduced to top 3, then top 2 on the the back of this failure. That will properly **** the scum up.
Hmm, not against the away goals rule. I don't think extra time should be promoted. Its unfortunate for Arsenal with their efforts but then they weren't good enough at home, gotta play well in both legs
Good morning from a overcast Cote de Bardsey to Matt and co We will need to be on our toes tonight against McContract and Matt their defence is very poor but have we got sufficient in our locker to penetrate them not with Morrison Im afraid let some one else have a go I am all for letting the young o0nes have a go but not tonight we need to get to 50 points then we can experiment I wouldnt worry too much about MU they will not finish in the top 4 and I have listened to you re my penalty notice and laid it on you will cry when you read it!
Morning Mike. Blue skies in Southampton. There seems to be a backlash against Moro in last few days. I reckon Antenucci will start
If he does and we play one up front we lose.... Forget 50 points, we are safe. It's time for diffrent formations and squad rotation. For a start I would give Silvestri a night off play Cani and sharp as a two up front.. Play with some width in a 4-4-2. Their defence is ****e, let's try and test it. Won't happen but we should try.
Surprised that the Leeds board decided to go ahead with this, would have been easier for all to forfeit 3-0 and save 3000 fans the misery of getting through London during rush hour and watching their sick patient team get surgically carved open by Fulham! Ross and McC will play, not sure what the formation will be after Kit hinted at a change, expect lots of narrow passing with no threat before a long ball up to Smith. There is a small chance we might actually turn up and do something tonight, we've got some good players but the defence and team shape has been a problem. If you play with a bit of width and put our players under pressure then expect a few goals. Going ahead early would also mean a lot of pressure from the home support, where there is some discontent simmering.
Ross and McC eh? The fat child abandoning, flytipping, greedy, badge kissing **** is going to be a busy boy tonight. 0-0 bore draw.
We need two strikers up front to be a force next season, now, or next game would be ideal to let our best 2 forwards have 3 or 4 games to get back to net busting. McContract and Smith will have extra incentive if they both play from start, they have other good strikers too. Could be very tight but I sense a convincing win for one of them.
