a bit random and would probably be better as its own thread, but has anyone ever written articles for a website?
footballspeak.com starting following me on twitter, i followed back, and they're a football website where users can submit articles and I was thinking I might write one so I can say in my personal statement I have journalism experience :)

Never used to like it in all honesty, but I've got into it since the series all ended haha. My home town (Lincoln) was named on it once, something like "Goodbye first rate education, hello University of Lincoln!" or something. You shoulda seen my facebook news thingy, all my 'friends' on it went ****ing crazy at the prospect of being named on a big show, was very annoying <laugh>

Haha yeah I'm actually at the University of lincoln! So I got loads of abuse on facebook aswell from my mates! But most of us at uni just made a joke about it. But someone told me it was on the front of the Lincoln echo aswell which I did find quiet funny <laugh>

Haha nice one. Didn't see the echo! Was in Manchester at the time like. Just remember about 50 people on facebook posting something on it so I had to check out the repeat haha.

What made you want to choose Lincoln then? Where are you from originally?

Urgh, Grimsby <yikes>

I'm aware that it's a poor place. Lincoln's isn't bad actually. I never applied because they didn't do the course I wanted. You can do daft courses like golf management there though <laugh>

I just really liked the city it felt right. Plus the University is a grower its going to be right up there I recon in a few years. (oh and low grade boundaries might have somthing to do with it <whistle> )

I'm from Guildford and some might wonder why I support the toon? My parents are from South Shield's
