Rooney probably knew it was being sold to the press anyway with it being a mater that's released it. He's just making out he didn't since it would be seen as much worse had he given his blessing.

I have not seen anyone on the Arsenal board say we can win the title except for one person who is not even an Arsenal fan, he's a Real Madrid fan. Every other person has basically said the same as your manager - that it is still possible albeit it is unlikely.

For the record, we will not win the title because our earlier season form was not good enough but there is no reason why we can't finish as high as 2nd.

cos like why would we know the lfc board know or care what a manc thinks about the gooner board.

If you were 10 points clear with only 9 points to play for, i would put my money on the other club winning the title <ok>

Next week he'll claim he never said it and was just repeating what the media said to him

Or has he changed his mind again and decided he did say Man Utd were the best team in the league after all?
 
Fellaini's status went from ****e before kick off yesterday to world class at the end of the game, united fans showing their uncertainty in the post Fergie years.
 
Not surprised, Sunderland have experience of avoiding relegation due to hiring a new manager at the arse end of the season. happened with both Poyet and Di Canio.
