Wouldn't say there isn't much to play for Elland. Although unlikely, 6th is still doable, albeit with a lot of luck and good fortune. That said & with a mid week game, it might be worth Redders wringing the changes a bit with a view to next season
its a nice selection dilema though yes ? with plenty of players to choose from and a team on form 15 points behind a play off place eh ? ha ha
Silvestris distributution was the worst than any game so far. Two sides more interested in not losing than winning. They had a stonewall penalty not seen, corner kick and Antonio had his shirt nearly ripped off his back five yards out. The ref was looking right at it, very lucky.
Pretty dull match today. I'm now very close to coming off the fence re. Redders future at our club. I was incensed today when I heard the line-up. 4-5-1 at home!!! Not even 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1/4-3-3. Absolutely no intent on winning. All about not losing. As if that's not bad enough, he plays a midget up front, and plays Morison as a right winger! Yup, You heard it correct! The only way Morison can play for us is on his own up front. Not that I'm advocating that he should, it's simply the only thing he can do - winning headers, roughing up defenders etc. he game only livened up when Antenucci & Doukara came on. Can't understand why they didn't start. Also had a chance to bring on Phillips so we can have a look at him in the Championship. Didn't happen. Wouldn't have hurt. Even 15 mins would have been a start. I think I've just about had my share of Redders odd decisions. Suspect he must have went to ref school.

PRETTY MUCH WHAT I THOUGHT MORISON IS DECENT ON HIS OWN BUT AS EVERYONE KNOWS (bar redders) he is not a right or left winger SHARP NEEDS SOMEONE WITH HIM SO THAT LEAVES ANT AND DUC AND THEY MAYBE NOT THE BEST BUT THEY ARE WHAT WE NEED UP FRONT IF( redders wants to play that way. ) I THINK WE ARE MAYBE SAFE SO NOW IS THE TIME TO TINKER WITH THE TEAM REST SOME YOUNG ENs BRING IN SOME YOUNG ENs. PLAY SOME LOANEES CHANGE FORMAT,CHANGE KEEPER GIVE MORISON A CHANCE IN HIS NATURAL POSITION IF IT DON'T WORK TRY SUMMAT ELSE THIS IS THE TIME TO DO IT TO (someone said this) PREPARE FOR NEXT SEASON AND TELL THE POWERS TO BE THAT THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE GONNA DO (if you think your job is on the line) AND YOU ARE GONNA EXPERITMENT AND THAT MAYBE THAT WILL EXPLAIN TO (the boss) WHAT IS BEST AND BENEFIT THE TEAM YOUMAY THEN GET WHAT YOU NEED FOR NEXT SEASON BECAUSE ANYTHING LESS THAN CHAMPIONS WILL BE FAILURE.
