That takes me back to the 70's and Hogmanay.

Has made me think of a thread actually.

 

We used Tatties wrapped in Tinfoil to stick the cocktails sticks into.

 

Posh if you had tinfoil.

 

That's right.

Remember the Cheesy balls and Twiglets.

Ma used to make a big pot of broth and stovies on New Years Day.

It was never quiet in our household on New Year's Day. I don't know what Bonio and co. were on about.,

Stovies is yet another stodgy mess that skinflint Aberdonians eat instead of food.

**** off, rowies are ****ing belter. Not now 'cos they don't use animal fat to make them but traditional ones are ****ing top.

 

My old boss used to eat two rowies with a cheese slice and some ham between them. <boak>
