Maybe it is the team, Falcao didn't look half bad in the season prestigious Emirates Cup, even scored a goal. But he's playing a team that has no spark, no creativity, plays very slow, and hoofs the ball, obviously not his style.

As Laz said, put him in our team and he would do much better when he's got maestros like Ozil-Sanchez-Cazorla and even Rosicky all to feed him. Speaking of Rosicky, do United even have one central midfield talent like Rosicky who can do what he does? Nope, which shows you how dire their position is as he's basically our 3rd-4th choice creative midfielder and yet he's better than anything United have in that department.

Exactly, I watched Falcao in our pre-season and he looked very good. He now looks like a shadow of himself. Sad to see but serves him right going to manure...

Falcao looks well off the pace at the moment. Not sure if it's a long recovery from injury or his confidence being shot.
The 17-year-old that was marking him yesterday came closer to scoring, seeing one come back off the bar.

It's probably a bit of both. As well as trying to adapt to a new league.

He's basically ****ed his career up since chasing the $$$, from Monaco, to Manunited, all for the $$$.

But hey, as long as he's taking all the $$$ from United, doesn't bother me, let them get financially hurt and do a Portsmouth-Leeds.

Ex agent, if you can`t interperate the first bit you don`t have much chance with the rest <doh>

WOW because that REALLY REALLY takes the merit out of the comment I made eh? Grasping at straws now are we? What u going to do next, when some ex reporter interviews a butt hurt Falcao and I say look at this interview with a reporter, you'll be like but but he's an ex reporter, nanananana.

Get outta here, your responses are becoming as crap as Falcao.

Who said anything about the title?

Can you tell us what part of that interview is delusional??? Just saying what has happened in the past but nice try <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Saying maybe go higher than second, you deluded baboons, I'm sure there's more believing this dumb nonsense, next thing you know you lot are going to start putting a big banner saying BELIEVE.

At the end of the day, all you lot have to play for is the 4th place trophy, so pipe down will ya? You'd think you ****ers won the world cup today or something.

I'm amazed how Liverpool can lose at home to such a ****ty manure side. Rodgers is overrated!

What, you mean like you did? <doh> It could be worse, they could have lost to an even ****tier Monaco side. You gooners don't half set yourselves up for ridicule with some of your posts.

Even before the sending off, I didn't expect United to play as well as they did. They were very compact in midfield and were pretty solid defensively in the first half. They dealt with Liverpool's width with ease and kept possession relatively well. There weren't exactly ample chances for either side, but the ones United did have, they took them and were clinical.

I still think their defence isn't very good overall though because Liverpool had two or three good chances straight after the sending off but then United scored with virtually their first attack of the second half (lovely worked goal mind). Liverpool looked more threatening with 10 men and it wasn't exactly a stroll in the park for United.

Still a lot of work to be done at United, but they can certainly take a lot of encouragement from the last two results. I have to say I thought that after the loss to us, they would go on a downward spiral. If anything, the loss has galvanised them and they look like they have found a formula that clicks at a crucial stage of the season.
