Here is an update from Nick's brother, Chris: 'I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the kind words, prayers, support and concerns that have been sent through facebook for my brother. Thank you everyone, it's truley overwhelming. Nic is critically ill and fighting for his life, we are taking positivity from every hour that passes without deterioration. We all hope that Nic has the strength to battle through this and when he awakens that he has retained all or at least some of the personality that makes him Nic, a husband, a dad, a son, a brother and an uncle or simply Moo. Thank you again everyone, your support is appreciated x

A boy aged 13 from the East Park area of Wolverhampton was arrested today over the attack on Watford fan Nick Cruwys.

The youngster was held at 5am and is being quizzed over the violence, which left Mr Cruwys fighting for his life. Police said today the arrest was 'significant' and that they are pleased with the probe's progress.

He has been held on suspicion of wounding and is the second person to be held following the violence that unfolded last Saturday.

An 18-year-old man arrested in connection with a violent attack which left Watford fan Nick Cruwys critically ill has been released on police bail until April 8
 
13 year old arrested - shocking to think somebody that young could take part in a thing like this but maybe not surprising sadly?

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested over an attack that left a Watford football fan critically ill after a match in Wolverhampton.
The youth, of East Park, Wolverhampton, was detained earlier, over the attack on Nick Cruwys, police said.

A third teenager was arrested today over the attack on Watford fan Nick Cruwys, who was ambushed as he left a Wolves game.

The 18-year-old was held in the Fallings Park area of Wolverhampton at 3.30am on suspicion of wounding.
