My mate was trying to watch The Wire with his wife and got through 3 episodes and then told me they couldn't understand a word of it.I looked at him and didn't say what I thought (thick ****s) and just said it's not for everyone.:angel:

Yeah,the language they couldn't get ie street/black talk,thick ****s or rather boring ****s that never ventured out of Dublin.I'm not really having a go at them but not rare in Ireland.
Black talk/blacks in general can be ****ing weird to be fair
 
The Wire is superb but don't expect lotsa laffs, I found it even more impressive when I found out lots of the actors are English or real life criminals.

Idris Elba was superb in it. I was totally shocked to discover he was English.
 
So, still no opinions on "Generation Kill"?

Just watched latest episode of better call Saul...****in belter.
