milner is also old so if he adds will to win fine but if he adds a warm body but not that extra mile... then is an issue. we have a lot of young lads who need a lesson... not form gerrard about being a hero but about delivering week in and week out. suarez was the ultimate at that.... milner... all i'd want is a guy who never says die and gives 100% week in week out... not switches off v small teams like gerrard.... for example. not sure milner is that.
I think Milner is exactly that. Right now, Ageuro aside, he's probably City's best player......They'd be mad to let him go. Free signing on a 3 year deal. £100k per week. Yup, I'd take it. I suspect he'll want 4 years and £150k week though. Therein lies the only issue for me
Players shouldn't be judged on any single game, let alone a single game against us Either we dominate and give them no opportunities, or they raise their game and look better Either way it's a false impression since if we sign them they won't play against us again so we won't have those same conditions
Liverpool are considering making a move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho, 22, after a setback in their attempts to sign £37m-rated Miralem Pjanic, 24, from Roma. (Daily Mirror)
2 completely different types of midfielder. Lazy from the Mirror. Would take both in a heartbeat though.
Milner would never give up, he is a Suarez type in that he'd run through the inevitable brick wall for the team.
If you keep running I would presume eventually either there's a cliff to fall off or a brick walk to run into
Are we playing football or Temple Run? Hendo and Milner would be great unlockable characters for Temple Run.
Just watched Mohamed Salah score a brace against Juve....thought we had a lucky miss tbh but he looked the business today against the best team in Italy. He's really hit top form and looks a good player....Wonder if we should stick in a cheeky bid for him.....although Chelsea will be licking their lips at the prospect of his value soaring now.
who knows. he made a bad error going to cheslea. really all he is now is a cash cow to them but i can't see anyone paying the same as they did for him. shaqirir went for half nothing to italy and so i reckon the loan can only do cheslea good.
