Newkie are as expected

Unless they get lucky early in second I can see utd coming in stronger and scrapping another win
newcastle tonight will be mildly interesting.

away game for utd.... thats tough

newcastle are ****e... thats easy.

I can see it going like sunderland game... 0-0 until if/when utd get a chance. ... Can anyone see newcastle scoring?

Can anyone see newcastle making it hard for utd and attacking with any intensity?

Hmm called it right then... 0-0 utd slogging then newcastle completely flog it and utd take the chance 1-0

Honestly it is rather funny at this point

Manchester United match-winner Ashley Young talking to BT Sport: "David De Gea was magnificent again tonight. It was a hard fought win. We knew we needed three points and got our just rewards.
"We heard of results, others winning around us so it was vitally important to get a win here. It was great work by Wazza (Wayne Rooney), the ball fell to my feet and I put it away.
"People are always going to question the biggest club in the world. We concentrate on ourselves, listen to the manager and coaching staff and don't listen to anyone else."

What have people questioning Madrid got to do with United and their game tonight

Are you Astro or Page in disguise?
<whistle>

How is rooney losing it, the defender making a crazy section to back pass in his own 6 yard area and jtit bungling the clearance

Great work by rooney?

Also cisse missed at total sitter

The questions are there due to woeful performances

Utd home form is what they will have to rely on it seems

Mark, an infuriated Everton fan: After seeing that dross I am genuinely worried. Poor tactics, poor substitutions. Martinez out.
Dave in Newcastle: How can a team with so many talented players be so desperate? Time for Martinez to walk.
Ed from Exeter: Please please please sack Martinez. He's had long enough now.

Toffee's not happy...

Shame United won, purely so they stopped harping on about being 2 points above us. Still think we'll better their points tally over the next 10 games so not too bothered, astro should do another bet in regards to how many points we finish above Everton. <ok>

Think Peter Kirkup might be stopping off at a motorway services café to pick up a fat envelope.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal: "I think we have dominated for 90 minutes, maybe our best match of the season, especially in an away match we deserved the victory.

I didn't watch the game, but that wasn't the impression that I got. Anyone else share that view?

Cisse AND Evans - watch the press go for the former and excuse the utd player. And watch David Cameron not say something about this, for once, as it doesn't involve Suarez.

So are Everton <laugh> Only 6pts above 18th place QPR who have a game in hand.

TBF Everton will be saved by other teams being worse than them come the end of the season

More than likely, but Burnley and QPR are showing fight and Hull have starting picking up points.

Liecester down but Everton really could join them - especially if Villa keep going.

They should get out of it but lose a couple more and some of the other pick up points then it could be like West Ham going down with some good players a few years back.

I did watch it and they were as woeful as ever. The bloke is deluded

Newcastle denied a nailed on pen and Krul threw the ball in his own net after 89 minutes

They should of scored two before they actually did, but Cisse missed a one on one and had a definite pen denied. Could argue it should of been a draw but Newcastle looked terrible.

Neither team dominated tbh.
