Twins - despite being up here since '98 I can't get used to the 'caviar of t'North' on me chips. You can't get a pickled gherkin at the chippy here so I have to get a jar from Waitrose on the way home

It is probably down to where you were brought up, rather than how sheltered it was.

Alright WBA, I see you're your usual crazy self! Just out of interest, do you attend any games up North like United or Wednesday when you can't get to see the R's?
I go to some Lge of Irl games over here to get my footie fix but the standard is fairly poor.

I do indeed swords. My weds supporting mate Foxy has a couple of season tickets so I go to a lot of midweek games plus some corporate box type stuff with a client at the blades. Both were absolutely dire last year.
A couple of good players though -
Spurr & Johnson at weds were consistently good, well above the level of their team mates - I have always thought Spurr should be at rangers. An intelligent and steady defender.
At the blades I thought slew was class for such a young man but it was a truly abysmal united side.
Anyway I've just decanted a decent '83 Warres so must get back to the times literary supplement.
