I'm surprised this is not already being discussed. Many sauces claim we are in advanced talks with James Milner who is likely to sign a pre contract agreement with us. He is out of contract at City in the summer. I think he is just the player we need to add some extra maturity to our midfield and give some genuine competition to Henderson and Allen. His ability to play wing back and AM is an added bonus.
City will lash loads of money at him, just like they will lash loads of money at Ings They are desperate for homegrown bodies and know they will only play them as a last resort
Hopefully Milner loves playing games more than money. They can have Johnson. If he joins them I really wont be surprised.
