Aye, he's a funny un our Chappy.

He has, in the past put foreward some very well thought out & well reasoned points.

But...........,his obvious bitterness towards our transfers has manifested to the point of a very large boil.

All teams have different requirements, ours badly needed experience, that's what we've got
& a little bit of flair & skill as well.

I don't go on their board slagging off their signings. Would have loved Demba Ba here as I have said before.

Don't know owt about the French lads, maybe they will all turn out to be Terry Henry's or Viera's.

I like to save my bragging/slagging/gloating untill after the event.

Haway Chapz man, you can be a canny lad when you try.

1 above - he was the same when we finished above them Chunky. Just could not recognise the simple fact that we had more points.

Hello, first post. I think Bruce is building a cracking squad and squad is the key here. (Pure speculation here) I think he has been told it's europe or the sack for Bruce this season and so he is building a squad capable of challenging for a 6th or 7th place finish plus push for a cup. I think we'll see alot more of signings such as Vaughan and Ji Dong Won in the cups rather than the league.

I think Vaughan is a similar type of player to Modric, he keeps the game flowing and links up defence to attacked very well, although his stats are not splattered with goals & assists neither is Modric's but they just link up play so well and work very hard. Obviously I'm not saying hes as good as Modric but similar in style, he could well become one of the first names on the team sheet.

Thanks mate. Time will tell. I think Short is someone who doesn't like to be associated with failure, he is a very, very good business man and has been very succesful all throughout his business career and I dont think his dabble into football will be any different.
He wants his club to get into europe and if Bruce doesn't come up with the goods I think he will be gone next season.
But hey ho. Onwards and upwards. Its got to be good news either way for us fans.

While we are above them im gonna milk every min you guys forget how much they take the piss and think they are all high and mighty its a pity 4 or 5 seasons in the fizzy pop league would have done them good.

I was just taking the piss (obviously not very well, I won't be giving up the day job to become a comedian!!!) out of Chapazz, one particular obsessed Mag who has jumped through every hoop imaginable to slag off every one of our signings so far.
