Honestly, Allen absolutely bossed Toure today, completely proved me wrong. I know people see him as an average squad player, but if he can consistently perform like that he's in with a great shout of pushing for a first team place.

Toure was woeful in defense as normal

Silva was utterly anonymous

I was delighted to see Nasri plus two forwards as it meant no width and played to us

Navas would have been dangerous today

Huge result means 9 out of 9 in this block

Huge bonus 3 points we can bag and challenge anyone else to match like utd who have city

Coutinho was simply marvellous and in this form makes silva look the worse player which is saying a lot

God sterling was awful though... If we'd sturridge fit at all they'd have lost by a lot more

Do you want to try posting that again, only in English this time

Cheers

You know exactly what I mean. Your fat lazy lump might have knocked in a few (europa) but you are way lower than you should be

I'm wonder also when youll put yer tail between those legs.. How many goals will it require from arsenal? 3? 4?

No complaints
Liverpool wanted it more, the much maligned Joe Allen was immense in the middle

Easy for me to say sitting here, but I reall don't understand why Toure isn't just pushed forward and say forget defending because you're a liability. Just be that attacking midfielder causing teams chaos at the back and have 2 defensive midfielders behind him.

Milner Fernandinho
Navas Toure Silva
Aguero
That would give you width from Navas, defensive stability from Milner and Fernandinho and Toure can attack while Silva can drift inside.

I never hide you silly little man

Tobes I hope you lot manage to put one over on Arsenal later <ok>

I can't believe we sit above Southampton, swear they were 9 points ahead of us at the turn of the year? 2 points off third, 7 off second, absolutely ridiculous to think.. Great managers haven't got away with playing 3 at the back but Rodgers has implemented it to a tee.

Oh me of little faith: six points from Soton and City, I never saw that coming!

My ratings:

Migs: 7 Keeping up the good form, but was reluctant to leave his line again at first.

Can: 7 Solid, but dithering for their goal.

Skrtel: 7 Better second half than first, and found Bony easier than Dzeko.

Lovren: 7 Iffy distribution at times, but otherwise our best defender.

Markovic: 5 Anonymous in the first half, but improved in the second.

Moreno: 5 Really, really struggled defensively, and did little going forward. Hope he was just tired after Thursday.

Allen: 9 Our MoTM. Fantastic display, and how many times did he bully Toure of the ball? This is how he ended last season.

Henderson: 8 Everywhere, great goal, but got overrun in the second part of the first half. made up for it in the second.

Lallana: 7 Not every flick and wiggle paid off, but couldn't be faulted for getting in the face of their defence when they had the ball.

Coutinho: 9 Wonderful first half, faded in parts of the second, but then shone again in the last twenty. Couldn't let anyone else score a better goal than him!

Sterling: 6 Missed a sitter, plenty of effort (compared to Thursday) and a good little final shift defending at the end.

Subs: Studge: 6 Couple of really good pieces of skill holding the ball up in tight situations and as soon as he came on City's defence looked stretched to the limit. Missed a sitter to end the game trying to walk the ball into the net again.

Toure: 6 Calm and solid and won a few important challenges near the end. Nothing like the nervous wreck we couldn't trust last season.

Team; 8 Couple of spells where City dominated (well they are the champions) but we, the side that played 60 hours ago, went for it in the second half and deserved it. Keep this positivity till the end of the season now.

Bron: 8 Credit where it's due: I shredded him on Thursday night and, after playing for 180 mins less than three days ago, I feared the worst this afternoon. Missing some players, but he picked them up fine.

Let's not **** it all up on Wednesday!

to be fair 2/3 years ago and even at barca Toure was immense. Now he's getting old and probably overpaid, lost his motivation and is a lazy lump with quality. Pellegrini is blind as well and can't see what a liability he is nowadays. Just like why he kept Nasri on.

MITO i dont think Silva had a bad game. Wasn't his usual influential self but was one of the better players in that city side.
