Probably best result all round.

I couldn't quite bring myself to want them to win, which would have been beneficial really, so a nice extended demoralising loss is the best bet.

Wipes the smirk off their prick of a managers face too. He'll probably still be on Alan Brazil in the morning though, bigging himself up as usual.

I was hoping for 120mins and then 2-1 loss. They still go through. Forgot that Rogers doesn't do Europe.

The RS could have won the CL ...If they hadn't been knocked out of the league stage.

The RS could have won the Europa ...if they hadn't been knocked out by a poor Besikstas team
The RS could have won the premiership title...for the first time if they had lost fewer matches
The Rs could have won the League Cup ...if they hadn't been knocked out by Chelsea in the semis.

No wonder they and their fans are called the RS ...<laugh>

Why would anyone in their right mind appoint Sherwood as manager of a premier league team?????? I hope he's the quickest manager ever to get sacked in top flight football.

See Liverpool have their good Friend Clattenburg ready to give them a pen 2nd half with Kevin Friend their other mate on stand by. And Astro has the cheek to say Clattenburg only gives us the decisions
<doh>

City are a bunch of bottlers, not won at liverpool in decades. You just cant count on them. Sky blue should change to bottled yellow.

Wh isn't Tobes on here telling Dave how bitter he is <whistle>

Yes Dave, clutterbug did indeed refuse to book City players for constant fouling. City were owned today.

Go home.

Scored 3 legitimate goals today and they elbow smashed one of our players and only got a yellow.

Thought both teams looked suspect. Not exactly a battle of 2 giants. The best thing about today is we can look forward to playing both <whistle>

Nah City were poor.. bottled CL and prem in a week, you cant look past that. Palace could have beat them today...and you for that matter <ok>

lol not taking the bait!

You lot on the other hand are playing the worst football I've seen in my life time.

Seriously though I fancy us against City at OT. The game at anfield we better flood the midfield bcos that was a mess from pelligrini tbh and you punished them.
