We are definitely not getting any favours from the FA nor referees in general, worse than previous years so far. However we have not played at all well the past couple of months. Something is not quite right in this mix, buggered if I can see just what it is. We seem to have reverted to a more defensive mindset and are passing sideways and backwards more. Hazard still runs amok, but we just don't seem to play, or know how to play, direct football, it all looks a bit too complicated.That might simply be the sum of the parts, but I'd like to see a bit more running straight at the goal. After the Matic debacle, perhaps the media just might back off a bit ?2 game ban, when they did over turn Routledge card few weeks ago. Blatantly FA continues to do us.
We need to be 150% to circumvent FA, Refs & City and to get the title - which I don't see.
No team can produce 100% output in the business end of the season.
City is effectively out of CL, Jose will never do that and get us upto Semi yet again.
So we got ourselves an impossible job.
So I still give only 20% chance for us even with 5pt lead.
I will be freaking glad if I am proven wrong.

Jose needs to refresh things a little. Things have become too predictable. Cuadrado was finding his feet against Burnley.
Matic ban could be a blessing in disguise to include Ake or Loftus-Cheek. I can dream.
I'd love to see Ake play in the Matic role, I am a big fan of the youngster. Have not seen anything of Loftus Cheek, but BM2 says he's special. I agree that Jose could run a kid on now and again, but to be fair, he's played the youngsters more this year than in the past. Don't think any of them have let him or the team down, and young Zouma is terrific. I can't see that Ramires has done much this season, even his rampaging runs forward have been in short supply, and Oscar has been below par too. Perhaps a sub role for a youngster instead of those 2 would be a thought?
