<laugh> clutching at straws now eh Guru! The defeat to Luton was a pretty shameful part of Hughton's reign, but it was actually quite predictable in the circumstances. Silly decisions from top to bottom. We definitely deserved relegation when you put it in that context, even if we shouldn't have allowed it to happen based on the teams around us. I hope the lesson has been learnt...

I'm sure you're looking forward to it... All I'm saying is that you'll rue not having the stones to commit now if you come up trumps because you will have missed a massive opportunity. On the other hand, you can rest slightly easy that it very probably won't happen <ok>

Norwich are definitely overwhelming favorites and little old hoofball Ipswich are the overwhelming underdogs and to be honest we haven't got a hope in hell. I expect us to be comprehensively beaten and my arse be torn a new one! This is why I'm keeping my powder dry!

It's ok JWM, it is well documented that you don't care about the game on Sunday (just another game). We'll see just how true that is should the unthinkable happen. Will you resist the temptation? like feck you will. More like leading the charge I would imagine

You mistake my aims as wanting "to get a reaction" <ok>. My point is to merely highlight that deep down, though you don't want to admit it, you are beginning to honestly fear that the worst is going to happen. Even JWM has the stones to admi that.

You need to demonstrate you believed all along, otherwise all this wet non-committal but asserting that you Binners are better than we're assuming is just hollow. We've offered up countless bits of honest bravado in the last few days and so it's time for you boys to put your money where your mouth is. If you seriously don't believe what some of us are predicting will happen, let's see you call us out now. I just want to see a little less cowardice. It's too easy taking the piss after the event. I will simply sneer at your lack of earlier conviction.

Let me put it another way: I'm going to be you in reaction to your prediction that we'll draw.

"Well, Guru, we're a better team than you think. If we don't draw and Norwich manage to sneak a win, my how I will take the piss. Oh you really do like to talk it up, swinging your dick about managing to get a draw against us. Well you might, but I will take the piss if you don't."

Convinced? That's so weak, isn't it. Petty threats. You must be trembling in your boots about my threat that I "might" be able to take the piss.

I am absolutely confident of my own team now. And even if my confidence proves ill-placed, I won't care about having been wrong. I'll only care about how the team has done. That's where my pride stands, not with my predictions. Because if you can't be proud of your team what the hell is the point in being a supporter?

    Norwich 4/5
    Draw 11/4
    Ipswich 16/5

Even odds-on, I reckon that's a fairly reasonable price for us.. Hmm....might form part of a nice little acca with a few other 'definites'.<cheers>

Spot on! If you win, I expect it. You're obliged. But oh how I will laugh in turn that you never had the balls to say you believed. Probably because you don't. Which somewhat takes the rug from under any pisstake

so basically you are saying that myself and any other Ipswich poster can come on this board without threat of being banned for wumming and take the piss out of you and any other Norwich poster till the end of time if I give it the biggun before the game?

and that will be agreed by the mods?

<laugh> nice try. I can't speak for the mods, or anyone else, you know that!

The only bans, as I recall, you have received have been because you stepped over the line, not just for taking the piss. Your incessant whining on the subject is pretty tedious and just harks back to the time when you were constantly claiming to be Mr Lily White Guru who Oh-So-Innocently was just commenting.

You have my irrevocable permission to take the piss out of me for whatever I have written about our chances of beating you if we don't. <ok> Judging by (I think it was) Munky's comment earlier about you putting his quote in your signature, while I can't speak for him it would seem that other Norwich fans are equally prepared for the fallout if we don't win and accept that pisstaking is inevitable and justified.

But equally you're going to have to accept that your pre-match cowardice and lack of belief in your team will be thrown back at you!

As for wumming, that is just sad and pointless. If you're genuinely asking permission for that, I think you need to take a visit to that website in your signature block.

The thing is Rob, I do think we can win, but our clubs are so finely matched I'm not going to make stupid and frankly arrogant claims.

The past 24hrs have just shown what myself and others have pointed out in the past what a self obsessed bunch you really are.

"Our clubs are so finely matched" <laugh> (Again you have my irrevocable consent to rip the piss if I fall flat on my face here)

    Cheers mate <ok>

We're fans of a football club. If we're not self-obsessed, what the hell should we be? What's odd is how obsessed YOU lot are with us.
