We are still the only English club to beat them in the CL at the Nou Campe, City will have to go some to equal us.
Can't see it myself but you never know.

So... Joe Allen = average prem standard player, bang average. Nothing wrong with that as long as his place is a squad player

    Now

Milner, zabaletta, kolorov... And others = very average at cl standard

    Note the standard please

I'm sorry but city have 3 really good players and the rest are bang average at this level and it shows!

i think its simple... suarez is a **** pen taker... he's not the pen taker at barca.. its only 2-1... anyone saying give it to suarez for a hat trick is an ass.

messi missed it so what.. it was his job.

nice one... i just love to play against nasri.. he is so predictable.. start left, cut inside... keep going inside... pass it square or back... 90% of the time he is no danger to anyone.

On Luis Suarez: "He's a proper team player. He's matured fantastically. He scored two and could have had more. At Liverpool he was on fire. He doesn't get the ball as much at Barcelona but maybe that suits him a little bit."

Suarez loves being in possession of the ball.<doh>

Swansea director allegedly insults Man Utd manager Louis van Gaal
Swansea City are investigating allegations a club director made disparaging comments about Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.

John van Zweden reportedly told a Dutch TV crew Van Gaal was "arrogant" after Saturday's 2-1 home win over United.

"It is disappointing that one of our directors has apparently made a statement in the media in relation to a manager of another club," Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins said.

Van Zweden joined the board in 2002.

Jenkins added: "Our football club prides itself on having a good working relationship with all Premier League clubs, managers and staff.

"We feel we have built up that good relationship over a number of years and will continue to work hard to preserve our image within the Premier League and the game in general at all costs.

"If any of our directors behave in an inappropriate and unprofessional manner not befitting this football club then they will be dealt with internally and appropriately.''

Van Gaal and Van Zweden are both Dutch, with the United manager coming from Amsterdam and the Swansea director from Den Haag.

Van Zweden taunted United's Dutch players Daley Blind and Robin van Persie after the game, tweeting: "Great. First The double over #louisvangaal #vanpersie and @BlindDaley and also another @ADODenHaag win. What a beautiful da!"

If Van Gaal took offence at being called "arrogant" he'd better put his tin helmet on as the season nears its end if it goes tits up for utd.

Don't think that really comes into tbf, for instance Ferguson called everyone from referees to Dalglish, to Wenger to multiple City managers fit to burn over a wide range of topics and in most cases got an equal ****load aimed right back at him.
Van Gaal needs to strengthen his spine.

What he says about himself will be ok with him, its when somebody else has an opinion on him that seems to be the problem.

100% spot on. I don't understand why coaches can't train players to spot these sort of patterns. Robben and Messi used to be the same but they have developed and can go either way. Nasri though is still a 1 trick pony and loves to slow the game down. So overrated arsenal absolutely mugged city. Another one who is such a predictable footballer is lamela. Same as nasri cut in from the right never goes down the byline

Nasri was **** scared of playing Barca. You could tell by his comments in the build up to the game about not giving them as much respect. They've got a hold over City and I'm fully expecting to see them smash them back to Manchester at Camp Nou.

I saw the first half and City were utterly awful. Second to everything. No pressing or urgency off the ball. So slow on it. Totally reliable on Aguero and Silva producing something special up the field and on Hart keeping the wolves at bay at the back.
