    friend is a huge coward as a ref... i think you'd need to be shot to get a pen off him. we've been on the raw end of that guy.. i was utterly utterly amazed at the crap he pulled today

    as ou say, he "made himsefl big" by spreading his arms, if his arms weren`t out the ball wouldn`t have hit it. If a defender "makes himself big" in the area i bet you would want a penalty <ok>

    Weird, when we got a pen against City in the league cup semi-final because it deflected off a knee onto an outstretched arm everyone screamed it can't be given if it deflects from such a close distance :emoticon-0112-wonde
