I got my cup final tickets yesterday via Royal Mail special delivery and like a spoiled small kid I'm bloody excited. It's all set to be the best League Cup final in years and a real good opportunity for us to get vengeance over the Spuds for that 5-3 away defeat and for the loss in our last cup final meeting with them in 2008.

Enjoy Siam. Chels and the Spuds have been given just less than 32,000 tickets each. With Wembley holding around 90,000 fans, where are the remaining 26,000+ seats going ?????!!!!!!

.....at last on this thread, someone writing about the upcoming showpiece Wembley final !!!!!!!

Matic's red card and 3 match ban may be rescinded given the nasty studs in tackle from the Burnley player that led to his reaction. The Spuds also have a Thursday evening European game so Chelsea will be the fresher team on Sunday.

......I just hope we don't get that bloody Burnley loving Ref from Saturday. From high up in the East Stand it was obvious that the push on Costa was a stone wall penalty, I didn't exactly see what happened to Matic until late evening on BBC Match of the Day. Surely, Matic wont get a 3 match ban for his well understandable reaction ??????!!!!!!

I watched the Spuds v West Ham game on BT Sport today. The Spuds did very well to recover from being 0-2 down but the Ref played enough extra time for the Spuds to equalize. Unlucky West Ham but they did invite the pressure from the Spuds in the last 30 odd minutes. Chels v Spuds on Saturday will surely be a classic encounter with all out attacking football.

Nervous but excited already. In 2008 Tottenham had a pretty decent side, losing to this Tottenham side would not only be a disaster but one of the darkest days in the history of the club IMO.

I think we'll win, we've more quality, more experience and should handle the occasion better.

In my opinion, historically the darkest day for the club has to be the Spuds actually winning an FA Cup final at Stamford Bridge in 1921 when they beat Wolves - they really rubbed our Grandads' noses in it on that day. This closely followed by the Spuds beating us in the FA Cup final at Old Wembley in 1967.
