Don't like free agents, always a reason for them being in that situation

As I understand it, both Gignac and Ayew are free agents this summer. Marseille have offered them both new contracts (or are in the process of doing so). The problem is that French taxes are so high that it's difficult for them to compete on wages with clubs in other countries, so both will quite possibly look elsewhere i.e. for more money. Call it mercenary if you like, but you can't blame someone for wanting to go somewhere where they earn more.

The Italian league has dropped off so far that even the average players look good and his time in Germany has been poor (as has Dortmunds season)
