I didn't know his comments had been deleted, maybe he did it himself, I know you don't take offence, but he was 100% out of order! <ok>

Perhaps you don't remember doing it when you were sober.

Whether I'm pissed or sober it doesn't change the fact that I'm a complete bellend.

with threads like this its not hard to see why its becoming a waste of time reading stuff here, let alone trying to actually get involved in the discussion of football.
No matter how much this is classified as all good banter by certain visitors, it clearly isn't, its toxic WUMming and playground idiocy. I teach 11 year olds who know not to conduct themselves like this.
Numerous times i have posted in response to these WUM's giving detailed facts and data, often at their behest, which is promtly ignored by them, as it doesnt fit the response they wanted of an emotional rise to poke at. Can we just get rid of this rubbish clogging up our board already?

Except of course nobody on this thread, visitors or Budgies, has classified anything on this thread as 'good banter'.<ok>

look beyond this thread, its come up quite a lot what is acceptable joking around and what is blatant WUMming. i didn't suggest i was quoting anyone when i said good banter, i was summarizing the general sentiment. Other than that small misunderstanding do you have any other objection to my point Welly?

1-1 at the end. Good results with Blackburn and Derby both drawing.

Derby dropping points tonight certainly leaves the door ajar. It's not quite open but we've managed to get a finger in the gap. Hopefully Watford won't slam the door shut on Saturday! Massive, massive game.

Yep. I'm also hoping (though with no great expectation...) that a Brum resurgence after their shocker v Millwall, combined with a Boro FA Cup hangover might do us another favour too!

Let's hope so Rob. Momentum and consistency are the key now, but whatever Boro do at Brum tomorrow, we'll still be 6 points from 2nd place.

St Andrews is a tough place to go at the moment. And with the news about their parent company going under, there may well be a siege mentality. If Boro do win, they'll have had to play well I'm sure.

It's been done to death, so I don't want to rehash it, but because we have yet to play both Boro' and Derby, you can't really count it as six points from 2nd place - that would only be if we draw one of those matches (we are certainly six points from Bournemouth...) otherwise we need to make 9 or 3 points (with the added complication of Boro's game in hand). The former, I'd say, is almost impossible from here (hence why we simply cannot lose those matches if we harbour hopes of autos) the latter, making up 3 points, we are definitely capable of. If we draw both of them, well we'd need to get very lucky to make six points on three teams.

I don't know much about the Brum situation, but I can't help feeling we're going to have some season defining matches over the next three or four months. It's a cliche, I know, but points don't matter quite so much earlier in the season. Right now, while a point might look good on paper for Boro, they really need to keep pressure and not encourage the other points droppers...

Fascinating. (So much more than the Prem...)
