I use them as a general guide, I'm not going to watch something that is considered **** by all 3 as it probably is ****.

    so....

    trip to usa.

    Ba moves were really poor.

    I saw:

    1. Guardians of the galaxy... i'd call it fiar to middling action movie. not great but not that bad.

    2. Hercules.... piss poor fare but not a bad rock movie all in all. very formulaic

    3. Fury.. saw it in cinema before and rewatched it... not as good second time round.

    4. Lucy... decent. premise was ok, I thought parts were weakly acted but was ok.

    5. The equalizer... denzel washington..must say seeing these guys pretend to kick the crap out of the universe gets old. decent but again... lacks believablity.

    On way back

    1. Nightcrawler... that's a decent movie. bit of a nut job and slight unbelievable as he'd get laughed out of town really but it was good.. i'm sure i'd never watch it again but as a one time view it was good

    2. jersey boys... i was really scraping the barrell here. same moves on way out as back... this one was not great. clint eastwood directed

    3. the drop... bascially fell asleep during it...

    4. Zodiac... wasn't as suspensful as it could have been.

  4. True but again, that's why I say it need to be reviewed by a large number of people before I take any notice. We each have our own tastes so we won't always agree.

I reckon if i saw night crawler again i'd not sit through it but i'm fairly certain the first time round its a thriller that is gripping to see what happens next. Its a good effort

Jersey boys for me has a lot of speaking directly to camera but half the actors are not good at it. I also found the main signer to be not that good so it kind of grated at times. It was the fact that it was started that led me to leave it on... by the by i was lucky i did cos the BA system crashed for half the plane and i could not start anythign for the last 1.5 hours of flight after this finished so i saw it through... I would never watch it at home though.

I tend to use a mix of RT and imdb.

If both are high I will watch the first few episodes of a show or the first half hour of a movie to see if it hooks me.

I once risked it on After Earth though. Managed maybe 10 minutes in about 7 attempts.

I am thinking of starting Sons of Anarchy.

7 seasons so plenty to keep me entertained. Heard good things too.

Opinions? I sort of see it like tye last few episodes of BB bit stretched over 7 seasons.

    After Earth was terrible.

Buffy and Angel ruled back in 2000.
    Though i was a teenager.
I should rewatch them as an adult to see if they hold up.Though i am scared they wont and my nostaglia will be ruined.

Hehe I had a debate with a friend the other day about erotic movies vs Porn.
He couldn't understand why people fantasize about celebs like Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlett Johansson when he said, and I quote "You get to see hotter women in porn doing dirtier things", and I had to explain to him that even if they may be "hotter", they are not Jennifer Lawrence or Scarlett Johansson and.....
(I apologise in advance for being filthy here)

Those two are unobtainable and thats the appeal, plus it leaves more to the imagination, I said to him, yeah Sasha Grey is pretty, but there is something about seeing a woman getting drilled in every orifice by BBC's that takes the shine off em

    This.
US Shameless is great, I am always singing its praises on here.
Kicks the UK versions ass in to a cocked hat. And if you knew me, you'd know I despise US remakes, so I don't say that lightly.
