Yeah, don't know which one was the girlfriend though. Bet Jimmy was as shocked as anyone when Talbot got charged. But as Fred would say, it never rains it pours.
They did not include Suarez at Ajax, Costa at Athletico or any other multi club ratio's so all the stats are 1club stats. Its only fair to put Bale twice. The writer probably dislikes him and wants to play him down.
Which in turn could be a negative for one club players such as Messi. Like most young players, he wasn't as prolific at first and he's got better with age. C.Ronaldo was already a well established player by the time he joined Real so hit the ground running.
Oh, and Balotelli got a goal every 0.6 games at Milan too, where is he on that list...? It drops to 0.46 if its only league games so he should still be on there!
Liverpool are hoping to complete the signing of Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic, 24, his team-mate and fellow midfielder Radja Nainggolan, 26, and Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao, 19, for a combined fee of more than £75m. (Daily Express) Burnley striker Danny Ings, 22, has flown to Spain to open talks with Real Sociedad over a proposed summer move. (Daily Mail) And the Spanish side, managed by David Moyes, are set to quadruple Ings's current wages and pay him £60,000 a week. (Daily Star) Atletico Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla, 30, in the summer. (Spanish radio station Cadena Cope) The Spanish club are also hoping to take Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata, 26, back to La Liga. (The Scum)
Pjanic is rumoured at around 25m which would mean the other 2 between them are valued at 50m cant see see that being true. I don't see Ings going to Spain. He'lol go from one team fighting relegation to another just in different league where as could easily go to too 10 team in prem at end of the year. Cazorla to A.Madrid? Interesting... Think Arsenal would be crazy to sell him, he's their best midfielder in my opinion.
Pjanic would be a dream sigining. However, I feel we need a destroyer type DM in midfield first and foremost.
I think its some journo hack looking at the trio we bought from Southampton (would you have seen £49m as a fair price for those three?) and applying it elsewhere.
When was the last time we signed a player from Italy who them managed to settle in straight away and do well? Big risky lace to spend £75m.
