A question which I'd like Dai to answer but won't is : if Monk is superior to the previous managers' tenure then why is the football on show now so poor ?,We expect to improve the squad the longer we stay in the PL and in some aspects we have done just that but overall our standards have dropped and these standards are ones set by the Club so why the change in style and substance .
Dai, did you know that Laudrup picked up just 9 points after the cup final. That was from 11 games. A time when we were already pretty safe on 37 points. Cup under our belt, nothing else to play for. Did you also know Dai, that in our last 7 Premier League games we have picked up just 6 points. This form started at a time when we were only on 28 points, so not yet safe or not even close, so still everything to play for. Now looking at our next 4 fixtures. Do you reckon we will get 4 points or more from them? (Home) Man Utd (Away) Burnley (Away) Spurs (Home) Liverpool Because if he fails to get 4 points from those gamse Daiboy, he will have been on an equal or worse run than our previous manager, at a point when we are still playing for points, where as Laudrups team were safe. Wonder what you will make of that if it were to happen. Seeing as you asked for Laudrup to be sacked, you will no doubt be calling for Monks balls to be chopped off if he fails. Like Boundy, I don't expect you to reply.
He's got you all chasing your tails trying to rationalize the irrationalize and make sense out of nonsense.
Not really ,i'm highlighting the FACT thats he really is clueless with the debating skills of a wooden fence panel
You like to control the forum as you cant be wrong...well son you wont control me so you might as well stop trying When ever you lose an argument you start to throw the abuse tactic and as not only me but others who get the better of you and shoot you down in flames you up sticks and disappear from here for weeks we know you very well son.......<
Gus Poyets arse will be on fire after today's result. I wouldn't mind him coming in to give Monk a hand.
Sousa or nothing for me - he would organise the defence in a way we didn't need 10 behind the ball and Monk could be left sort out Gomis.
Who has said monk is superior and cant do no wrong.?? All i have been saying is in his first season he has done very well and disagree with all the anti monk nonsense that he is rubbish.....He is not perfect far from it but he has kept us in the top half all season especially when most on here said he would not get us out of the bottom 3. I would rather give him a pat on the back than slag him off for what he has done so far this season because if you look further down the table you will see more established clubs who have real problems than what we have...If we were in the relegation mix i would be questioning monks ability but we are not therefore i will back him all the way...
But your patting him on the back when his form is almost that of his predecessor who you despised and slagged off at any given opportunity. Specifically bringing up his final 11 games of the 12/13 season. Do you not see the hypocrisy? You slagged off his predecessor for no longer playing like Swansea, yet pat Monk on the back as he takes us further away from that kind of style. So are you going to answer me. Will Monk get 4 points or more from his next 4 games. United (home) Burnley (away) Spurs (away) Liverpool (home) If not, I will expect nothing less than you to be the first with the "sack monk" banner. After all, you wouldn't want to support a manager who has a worse run in form than the manager you hated and picked up on that run of form for the past 2 years almost.
His predecessor nearly wrecked the club ffs how the hell can you support that? As for being mystic meg predicting what we will do in the next 4 games then i dont know just like every single game we play i dont know. All i do know is today we are in 9th with a gap opening up below us....
Ok, seeing as you won't do any predicting. IF we don't get 4 points from our next 4 games, will you turn on Monk? After all how could you support someone who failed to beat his predecessor over 11 games. 11 games that you have harped on about since they happened as being relegation form. Laudrup may have had his flaws. But we have never played this poorly, with such crap passing, since before Martinez introduced the "Swansea way". So how can you really support Monk when we are going backwards in play style?
Was the exact same in the season of Laudrups last 11 games lol. Yet that didn't stop you haha please log in to view this image We already had 37 points, even after the poor run we ended u in the top half, nowhere near the relegation zone, yet you still bitched like a child over his form. Yet now you use the top half and away from relegation as an excuse not to criticise, you really couldn't make it up if you tried. Do you really not see your hypocrisy.
"what's a matter Dai..hit a raw nerve with my comments .. " "you seething there tosspot.. i can tell.." Nice one Dai Box Office. Don't ever give up on this place sweet cheeks, you are so ****ing amusing
Especially when the passes are to the opposition. The way we are (not) playing at the moment, we`ll be lucky to get one point. If we get three points or more I`ll be delighted, but I`m not holding my breath.
I'm glad of that. Holding your breath for four and a half weeks would be very hazardous to your health
Anyone watching Utd v Preston? I'll be very disappointed if we don't get at least a point at the weekend as Man Utd are piss poor. If Monk can get us playing like we can, we could win convincingly
