Well, just 14 days and three games later and not only are we in the play-offs already, we are also just six points off the top spot. Confirmation, if any was needed, that you were being ridiculous after all
I admire your optinism Munky really I do, but come on mate autos is a big ask, if we finish top 6 after all that's gone before we'll have done well. The thought of meeting 1p5wich in the play-off final mind, fills me with dread
If you beat Watford next week I might just begin to take you boys seriously but I reckon they will stuff you!
god help this site if its a Norwich Ipswich playoff final. I reckon we will need a whip round to send dave on holiday the weeks before to cope!
I reckon they won't and quite frankly I know better. We are far more of a serious threat to those promotion spots than yourself.
Well I'm certainly more hopefully than I was 14 days ago, but I'm far from confident. Next week will be interesting and a win would certainly boast my confidence, but so far this season we do have a habit of bottling it. Lets just wait and see.
So that's why we have have been ahead of you for the past Six months! You lot are basically flat track bullies we will see how good you are over the next couple of weeks when you have to play some decent teams.
When you say "ahead of you for the past six months", you will forgive me for assuming that this means you have been ahead (i.e. above us in the table) for each of the last six (being the number of fingers on a Norfolkian’s hand) months (i.e. on the Gregorian calendar). Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that you first climbed above us in the table on 4 November 2014, which is a mere four and a half months ago... Now I know you're not one to exaggerate for the sake of it and are renowned for being absolutely precise, so I'd be ever so grateful if you could explain to me which of the definitions of "ahead", "six" or "months" you are doing a Carrabuh with?
(The irony of describing us as "flat track bullies" given the teams we have struggled against this season, I won't be so graceless as to point out...)
It gets harder every week to believe anything this guys writes, it's even harder to believe that he believes what he writes is true.
I'm with you KIO. The logistics of getting opposing fans to Wembley on a Bank Holiday would be horrendous and must fill the police with dread. Yes the game a fortnight today is going to be HUGE and could really define how good AN is!!!!
To be fair the table does not lie and the Southern brethren are ahead of us, there is no doubt that they have exceeded their own expectations and continue to do so. The win at Fulham being the latest good result in a very strong season for them, I think we should congratulate them on that achievement. However, I do honestly believe that we are a better team and now we need to prove it with some more tough games (season defining games) coming up against Watford, Blackburn and Ipswich with still Derby and Boro to come to CR. I reamin very hopeful of the play-offs but do see the automatics coming a little closer and surely within range. Bournemouth are showing the first signs of cracking and with Boro possibly distracted by the Cup it is all looking very interesting indeed.
