Has never impressed me, if there's a square pass on he'll find it.

Yes. He doesn't set the world alight, but he isn't dross. He's playing the same amount of key passes per game as Davis according to the stats, so he can't only be passing the ball sideways or backwards. He normally covers a decent amount of ground and wins the ball back a reasonable amount. He's half decent.

I beg to differ, he's a player who rarely hurts you with his creativity and also lacks physical presence in his DM role. Davis normally plays a more advanced role for us where he's very effective despite being unable to finish, I certainly wouldn't swap him for Noble regardless of stats.

Maybe dross is the wrong word. But I can honestly say I was disappointed Nolan and Noble were not fit or rested for West Ham's starting line up against us.

I was very pleased to see no Nolan against us. Not because I rate him as a player, but because I didn't want to have to watch 90 mins of him whinging and harassing the referee.

But I agree on Noble. Horrific that some people think he should have had a chance at international level by now. There's so little to his game, just the ability to take a penalty and, as you say, play a square pass.

I know exactly where your coming from with Nolan who's been a nightmare down here in the last 3 seasons.

Come on Liverpool injuries, Liverpool red cards, and, ultimately, a draw.

Only Sturridge and Coutinho. The rest......meh.

Don't know about that buddy....they are playing well and looking pretty slick with loads of momentum....feel we'll need Morgan and Toby back for this one and start converting our chances.

Some stunning cup results today!! Well done to Blackburn, West Brom (hope they can get to the Final and win it), Reading and Liverpool. Sorry can't share a loathing of Liverpool that a number of users on here have. Would love Preston to win on Monday night!!!
