Hmmm,you may have sit down,look at a map,look at the makeup of the EU and see were exactly Dublin is,geographically that is.In answering your question,yes we have a growing Leftwing political base growing here and just like the Greeks pissed off with austerity and pissed off with some one else telling us what to do.
ROI is economically to the right - even the hard left (Sinn Fein) don't want to raise corporation taxes or piss off multinationals. We're all Neo-Liberals now.
Mike you've just given me an idea... growing scotch national socialism could mean that we Brits will have to move our nukes. Maybe we could do a business deal with Shin Fein to keep them in oirland.
I was thinking more along the lines of paying them to keep a base there, not actually give them the weapons...

For the Greens to implement all that, they'd need a lot of ammo.
What the Tories are very good at is convincing the outer party and the proles, how anti and robust they are about a particular sin, while doing the exact same thing behind the scenes.
Tax dodging, immigration, big multi national corporations that stunt the poor little business guy, rooting out *****s etc etc;
