Before the game we were 11 points and 6 places above WBA - that should have been a banker 3 points.

Why? They have Pulis in charge now and for all of his criticism he's a very good manager.. There was nothing guaranteed about tonight.

Somehow...we've maintained league position after that performance. And somehow we're still only 4 points off West Ham despite us feeling like we've been crap for months - yet West Ham have had a great season. The league is bonkers. I feel really down after that performance, but yet we still sit reasonably pretty?! Dumbfounded.

Never anything guaranteed but that was ours to lose and we did and we lost without much of a fight. When Neil Taylor is arguably the MoM it takes some believing.
I don't accept your premise that we lost because Tony Pulis has been in charge of WBA for a few weeks - that's as lame an excuse as could be proposed & doesn't offer much respect for our manager.

You said 'banker'. Make your mind up.

Tony Pulis coming in has transformed the WBA side that has been in a dogfight all season. He did the same at CP too. Tactically, he is superior to Monk. If it wasn't for his brand of football, I'd have Pulis with us tomorrow.
